ICEJ News reports: Iranian leaders show no signs of compromise
Evil Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei gave another firebrand speech on Sunday in which he declared, among other things, that “our armed forces should continuously improve their [combat] readiness, irrespective of political calculations.” The speech echoed a recent boast by Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) commander General Mohammad Ali Jafari, who said “The range of [our] missiles covers all of Israel today. That means the fall of the Zionist regime, which will certainly come soon.” However, some officials in the armed forces have recently begun to downplay the maniacal ravings of their political leadership out of apparent concern that the overheated rhetoric might result in a war they know Iran can’t win.
