VOTE TODAY!

Election Day

Voters across the country are heading to the polls today with a lot on their minds — from Ebola and the economy here at home to ISIS overseas. According to the polls, just 28% of Americans feel the country is on the right track. Obama’s approval rating is at 42%. (Who are these people?)

During recent interviews Barack Obama said that while he is not the ballot, “[My] policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them,” and that Senate Democrats who are on the ballot, “are all folks who vote with me; they have supported my agenda in Congress.”

My friends, this is your last chance to vote against Barack Obama’s radical agenda and the left-wing politicians in Congress who are enabling him.

Please vote today and take someone else with you!

Let me run through a brief list of issues with you:

Ebola: CBS News poll found that 80% of Americans support quarantining healthcare workers returning from West Africa. A National Public Radio poll found that 77% of Americans support “suspending all travel to and from [Ebola] affected areas of Africa.” These are two commonsense policies that Obama is refusing to consider.

Amnesty: Barack Obama has repeatedly threatened to use his executive power to grant a quasi-amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. A September Rasmussen poll found that 62% of likely voters oppose such action. Just 26% support it. Moreover, only 24% believe Obama has such authority.

Same-sex Marriage: Last week an Associated Press poll found that likely voters were split 44% in favor to 45% against same-sex marriage. But they rejected unelected, liberal judges forcing same-sex marriage on the people by a 14-point margin. Fifty-six percent of voters said it was wrong “for the federal courts to issue rulings that overturn state laws” on marriage.

Abortion: The AP poll found that only 23% of voters said abortion should be legal in all cases. That’s the Democrat Party position, and it gets just 23% support. But 76% of voters support some restrictions to the taking of innocent unborn lives.

Obamacare: Only 31% of voters said they supported Obamacare and 58% would like Congress to “repeal it completely.”

Clearly, Obama’s positions, and those of Senate Democrats who have supported his agenda, are not very popular with the American people. That’s why the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that 67% of voters said they wanted Obama to change direction. I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for Obama to change his mind. Instead, I pray the American people will change control of the United States Senate!

Make your voice heard. Vote! And take someone else with you!

Eric Holder Sends Poll Monitors

Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the Justice Department was sending poll monitors to 18 states — Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

Are they looking to crack down on voter fraud? To make sure illegal immigrants are not voting? To stop the use of machines rigged to change Republican votes to Democrat votes? Of course not. In fact, the Washington Post reports that the “monitors will look for race-based discrimination and inadequate resources for bilingual voters and individuals with disabilities.”

I thought that when someone became a citizen with the right to vote, they were supposed to learn English. So why is Holder obsessing over whether there are “insufficient resources for bilingual voters”? Unfortunately, I suspect this is a ruse to intimidate GOP poll watchers from challenging suspected illegal voters.

I have no doubt that cheating, unfortunately, does occur in our elections. But I am confident that it only matters if the results are close.

That’s just one more reason for every conservative to vote today so that our candidates win in a landslide and so the results can’t be contested.

Call your friends, family members and neighbors and remind them to vote. Key Senate races hang in the balance. Important issues on like abortion, legalization of marijuana, driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants and Second Amendment rights are on the ballot too.

If you experience any problems voting, email us. And then call your state GOP headquarters.

Stay Tuned!

I am cautiously optimistic we will be celebrating a change of leadership in the Senate tonight. Stay tuned. Check out my Facebook page and follow me on Twitter for updates throughout the evening as results come in.
