Gas Prices Below $3 a Gallon

Gasoline prices typically decline in autumn, and this year they are being pulled even lower by falling global oil prices. By the end of the year, up to 30 states could have an average gasoline price of less than $3 a gallon. KKIM radio newsman Frank Haley reports that he has seen  gas in Albuquerque this week for $2.98 a gallon. New Mexico’s average is at $3.22 a gallon. The Albuquerque Journal reports  that 15 stations in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Bernalillo and Santa Fe have gas prices at $2.99 or less with the lowest at Costco and Sams in Albuquerque.
