What’s The Difference Between Governors Martinez, Perry And Brewer?

Gov. martinez2
I did not know whether to laugh or cry for the state of New Mexico this morning……all of a sudden Governor Martinez came out of the woods, or from raising money money, to make the headlines in the Albuquerque Journal on immigration. How dumb does the Governor think the people of New Mexico are? The headline in the Journal: Gov. Blames Obama For Border Crises….okay what’s new Governor? This comes on the heels of Texas Governor, Rick Perry,  who has been more bold on this issue than Martinez, sticking up for what is right and wrong and taking the President to the wood shed. Governor Perry said he would not meet President Obama when he comes to Texas unless the President would sit down and talk immigration with him, Obama conceded.

What’s the difference, Perry is not running for anything and Martinez is running for re-election and has her eyes on Washington D.C. We can pray that Perry runs for President. Martinez does not want to rock the boat, she the head of ‘the sit more do little’ administration.

Arizona Governor Brewer has always been outspoken about the dysfunction of the Obama administration. She has put her neck out therte for the people of her great state many times! Governor Brewer had her own tarmac meet and greet with Obama.

Governor Martinez is the only non confrontational boarder Governor.

When I interviewed Governor Martinez on the radio as she was running for Governor I was so excited about the change she would bring to New Mexico. She is the one who has changed, the office and politics has changed this former District Attorney. It is sad, she was our best bet in years to push our state forward, things have not gotten any better, maybe less corruption, but the Martinez administration has been a huge disappointment. So many Christians, who helped elect her,  have been disappointed in her lack of fight for the sanctity of marriage and life.

The problem the Governor deals with, I believe, is one man named Jay McCleskey, the Governor’s chief adviser.  Insiders have told me that he is not good for Governor Martinez and the state of New Mexico.

Is NM Governor Martinez’s Top Adviser Jay McCleskey Right For Her And The People Of New Mexico?

Governor Martinez will still get my vote, as the alternative Attorney General Gary King, is no alternative.

I pray for more leaders like Brewer and Perry.
