Israel Continues To Be Under Attack

Already suffering from weeks of rocket fire into its territory from terrorist groups in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, Israel came under fire once again from terrorist groups in Lebanon Monday as two rockets fired from Lebanese territory landed near the northern city of Nahariyah. The IDF responded by firing an artillery barrage at the source of the rocket in Lebanon. The incident came hours after another rocket fired from Syria also landed in Israeli territory, causing no casualties but raising concern that the the conflict could be spreading. The Iron Dome air defense system intercepted seven rockets fired at Ashkelon overnight Sunday and another five fired at Ashdod, as well as several fired at Tel Aviv earlier in the afternoon. Meanwhile, a unmanned airiel vehicle (UAV) was flown into Israeli airspace from Gaza Monday morning and promptly shot down by an IDF Patriot missile battery near Ashdod. Read More
