Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,

How are you today!

Thanks for coming by for a CUP!

Just think, today and most days now we have 8,000 and even 20,000 people coming to visit us! God is building quite a community here at FGGAM and the CUP! PTL!

I still cannot get over that our number two city is New York! PTL!

We are just a little Mom and Pop ministry trying to stand in the gap each day for God.

Please pray for Sharon this morning as she makes another presentation!

Grab your cup of coffee and step outside for a few moments. Breathe deep. be still. Give thanks. It is good for the soul…..and it is one amazing gift of the morning. Words of Tera Cory Elness from Windom, Minnesota, who like my Sharon, is an amazing women of God!

One of our Dear friends, Grace Cordova,  called me and asked me to visit with Greg Griego of Albuquerque, a young man who has brain cancer. The Doctor’s have said there is no more they can do. But we know who the master physician is don’t we? Last night at Greg’s house the family gathered for prayer……….Dewey and Greg 1Dewey and Greg 2

The Prayer of Faith

13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.2 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. 18 Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.
19 My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, 20 let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. Amen!

“To pray is to descend with the mind of the Lord, ever-present, all seeing, within you.” From Theophan the Recluse

A wonderful place to be in your life is, when you can say, “He walks with me and He talks with me”

The words of Frederick W. Faber:

Only to sit and think of God,

Oh what a joy it is!

To think the thought, to breathe the Name,

Earth has no higher bliss.

AMEN! SHOUT IT FOLKS!

What you think on, is what you become.

What are you thinking about?

How often to you think of God?

The pictures are of me laying my hands on Greg’s brother Kieth, as he prays for Greg who is sitting on the couch. The other picture is of Greg with his precious Mother. What love a Mother has for her son.

Te family sent me these pictures.

Please pray for us to be able to upgrade the CUP format in days and months ahead so images will always how on the email. Burt go to FGGAM.ORG for full view. Thanks to Betty Gilmore of Santa Fe for sending in a love offering to help us go forth in our planning and improvements. Love to you all!

For a full view of the CUP and pictures go to FGGAM.ORG, the CUP is always posted there.

There was so much love in that room last night, the love of Jesus Christ! The Holy Spirit moved in a powerful way, friends from Greg’s work, Univision radio even came to pray.

I love sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Griego family are strong believers in Jesus Christ, they know the power of God’s Word.

I was telling Grace last night that it is so cool in our Lord, to make “house calls” for our Lord. The freedom to go into homes and share Jesus Christ. And then watch people move closer to our Lord. You see my Friends, we must “move out” and go into the homes of folks and share the love of Jesus Christ, the healing power of Jesus.

I feel like my hero, Doc Adams on ‘Gunsmoke’ who carried his Doctor bag with him as he traveled around Dodge City to visit the sick…….I carry my satchel that Sharon gave me, my Bible, a few books that the Lord says to carry with me, a few gifts of reading, and anointing oil that Wanell gave me, thank You Lord!

You see it is in the home where everything begins.

I ask you to keep praying healing over Greg and for peace and strength for Greg, his young daughter, and entire family. We are praying for a miracle in the life of Greg! Amen!

I will keep you posted.

I just want to remind you that if you ever need me to come and pray for you or a loved one just call or email me, we are called by our Lord to serve you.

My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus. Acts 20:24

You see, even in these dark days on earth, God’s light shines brightly, walk in the light of our Lord.

There is so much freedom in our Lord, it is the only true freedom!

Shout from the rooftops today about your joy in the Lord!

Claim all the promises in His Word!

As many as you know I report on the news everyday…..everyday………not a day off..day and night, I am called by God to do this, it is not of me, but of God……..I do the radio program with Pastor Paul Holt, “The World We Live In” that continues to grow in listenership, my point is that I probably look at the ugly news of the day more than most of you, but I still know the good news of Jesus Christ, that is to be our anchor, we are not to be part of this world, we are to occupy until He returns and stand in the gap for Him being salt and light, until the day He returns. So do not let the news of the day get you down, bathe in the love of our Lord and tell others about that love! Keep posted on current events always, and see biblical prophecy play out right before your eyes so you can tell people about it. Tying current events together with God’s Word is a wonderful testimony to a lost world.

On the way home God said to stop and see Lou and Vikie Cannavale, it was late into the evening but God said go, Lou answered the door and we all had a good visit in our Lord. It is so wonderful to walk up to a house and be invited in and talk about our Lord. We also prayed over Vickie who has cancer. I have known Vickie and Lou for over 20 years, they are leaders at Paradise Hills Methodist Church. It is wonderful just to sit still and share about our Lord.

How often do you just stop by a friends house?

Church is just not on Sundays and Wednesday nights…….it is everyday, all day, 24/7, it’s all the time wherever you are at, at work, on vacation, at the lake…….how are you and the Lord doing? How are you doing witnessing to others?

Earlier in the day I had a Godly conversation with David Standridge, a dear friend, leading Christian attorney here in New Mexico. His Mother passed away last week, please pray for David and the entire family. David loved his Mom like a son should. We had a very blessed conversation about grieving…….grieve how you feel, everyone grieves differently, you will not grieve like your brother or sister more than likely, grieve in our Lord…….He knows how much you love your Mother, Dad, family members………friends…….I taught grieving classes for widows years ago at the Church we were attending, this came after the passing of my Dad and Mom, I wanted to learn more about God and life and death here on earth and grieving. I know grieving well.

By the way Happy Anniversary to David and Deb Standridge, it is their 20th Wedding Anniversary! Love to David and Deb! Thank you David and Deb for being a shining light for our Lord!

That’s it for the CUP today, I pray like I do everyday that this CUP inspires you in your relationship with our Lord. I pray that you forward this CUp to family and friends.

Now back to the news room!

Please email me and let me know how this CUP moved you. Thank you!

For God’s Glory Alone in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ, Dewey, Sharon, Family, and FGGAM Team

Let us keep praying for each other and our families.
