I can’t vote because I am an Independent. I believe it is un-American, un-Constitutional as to how New Mexico runs primary elections. This two party system has resulted in failure of the state. Both partied have had many numerous opportunities to improve this state, and both have failed. Our founding Fathers have got to be rolling over in their graves on how New Mexico is run,
Democratic and Republican voters head to the polls today in New Mexico to decide their parties’ nominees for elected offices, including governor and U.S. senator……
Polls across the state are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Many ballots, however, already have been cast. New Mexico allowed early, in-person voting May 17 through Saturday.
