More prayer needs…..The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terror militia declared the founding of an Islamic “caliphate” in the territory under its control in eastern Syria and northern Iraq on Friday, adding that its chief Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi “the caliph” and “leader for Moslems everywhere.” However, what’s left of the regime’s in Damascus and Baghdad show no signs of quietly surrendering to the ISIL onslaught. The Iraqi national army sent tanks, gunships and thousands of troops into Tikrit over the weekend as reports surfaced of armed American drones being deployed in Iraqi airspace and Russian bombers being delivered to the Iraqi air force, which until now had no fixed-wing aircraft with which to counter the ISIL offensive. Meanwhile, in Syria, residents have reported a campaign of terror against ISIL opponents, including the widespread use of crucifixion of Christians who refuse to cooperate with them. Read More
