Franks wife, Alice sent me this note:
May 1st: National Day of Prayer. Day of fasting and prayer over our Nation. God’s people praying the ancient prayer of 2 Chronicles 7:14 over our sins. Amen!
Here’s more on the story:
(Santa Fe) — Private pilots from all 50 states in the U. S took to the skies over their state capitals today for the National Day of prayer 2014. In New Mexico, pilots Ellis McMath and his daughter Brenda Boatman along with KKIM’s Frank Haley and Albuquerque Joe Simons Jr. flew from Albuquerque’s Double Eagle II airport to Santa Fe and prayed over the New Mexico state capital. The New Mexico state capital building is a large round structure many locals call “the merry round house” because that’s where the state legislature meets and many times seems to be have a party rather then tending to the citizens business. The 4 flew in a 4-seat Cessna that belongs to the Ministry BETTER TOGETHER MEXICO. Founded by Ellis McMath of Albuquerque, BTM travels into Mexico to build churches, homes, feed the poor and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in villages and prisons of Mexico. Today’s prayer flight was sponsored by Prayer Flight out of Ohio.
This is an historic effort, begun by a group of pilots and prayer warriors in and around Bluffton, Ohio.
