NEW MEXICO WEATHER ALERT: Wind Gusts From 45 to 55 Mph Today

Blowing dustFire danger is extreme in many parts of New Mexico. By 2pm this afternoon in  widespread areas, winds will be gusting from 45 to 55 mph according to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque. This increases fire danger and also will cause hazardous driving conditions in many areas. We pray for the safety of all and all firefighters on the lines of the Pino fire on the Socorro and Valencia County line. Officials have ruled the Pino fire human caused, a citation has been issued. The person was burning their ditch. Please use common sense during this extreme drought.  Let us pray for rain.
