Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Good Morning loved ones!

Yesterday we got the bad news of the school shooting in Roswell. That came after my posting on the CUP yesterday of the Nothing Noise of the World. We shared yesterday about the man who shot and killed another man inside a Florida movie theater. Now the school shootings in Roswell. Go to FGGAM.ORG www.fggam.org and the very best news commentator that America has to offer, Pastor Paul Holt, looks at this devastating situation through his Biblical lens.
Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares; at the head of the noisy streets she cries out, in the gateway of the city she makes her speech: How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you. Proverbs 1: 20-

Yesterday morning I was swamped, Rick Stambaugh is undergoing cancer check up’s please keep him in your prayers! In the meantime, Wanell Pate said the CUP was good as always, but it was short! I love it! I now have permission to go real loooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg!!! LOL LOL! Sometimes I know I can go LONG! But now I have Wanell’s permission. It is still a work in progress finding the time to post the CUP and keep the web site updates. We have come to rely on Rick so much, he is a gift from God.

Also yesterday, I got a call when I was pulling my hair out, the little there is, and it was Karen Rowe of Hope In Today Ministries in Efland, N.C.. I asked her if it was URGENT! and she calmly  YES! I said what’s going on? She said she was just talking to her Pastor, Pastor Alston and he asked how I was, they had been praying for me and were prompted by God to call me and pray with me and that they knew I was being challenged in many areas. WOW! God showed them, told them what was going on in my life, Karen called to support me and my family. We talked about evil.Praying together. standing against the evil and not giving in to the evil.
Matthew 18:20 – For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 18:19 – Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 – Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
She also said something that really hit me…..”The Ministry of FGGAM is not the web site Dewey,…..it is inside you!” WOW! That impacted me much. We have to remind ourselves Christ lives inside us, our ministry lives in us. God is with us at all times. No matter who you are YOU have a ministry and it is right inside you, it is Jesus Christ, show Him to the world. Let that sink into your heart, mind and soul. You are who is inside you……is it God, is it satan? Is it 50% God and 50% satan? that will not work. We have to be all God. Do you hide things from God? You cannot hide anything from the God of everything!

I also just want to say that these two Godly people Karen Rowe and Pastor Alston listen to God. They move on the prompting of God. If God says to call Dewey, they call. I have to say I try to do the same at all times and sometimes people will say why are you calling me? God said to! When God put’s someone on your heart CALL THEM!! I have to tell you that I have more than a hand full of folks that I called when God said to call and soon after that they were called home. Imagine how I would have felt if I did not make that call.

One final note: It get’s lonely in Ministry at times. Karen and I had a talk about that yesterday. Sometimes you pray that someone would pick up the phone and call and ask, How are you Karen? How are you Pastor Alston? Ask how you can help! How can you help the folks that are in small ministries, like Karen, Pastor Alston, and others. Pray and support them. They are making a world wide impact. There really is no more small ministries, with modern day technology we are all over the world.

Talk about a world wide impact:

Leonard IndiaA man who has had such an impact on my daily walk with Jesus Christ, Pastor Leonard Navarre of Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood, NM, will be leaving this month on the 19th for his 6th mission trip to India. Leonard is pictured with his friend, who he calls “Happy Man”  who made a guitar out of  the shell of pumpkin!!! WOW! This past Sunday at each service all the Elders at Valley View laid hands on Leonard and prayed over him. Here is some information from Leonard:  “I am so excited about my 6th Mission trip to India, January 19 thru Feb. 1st.  First, thank you all for your prayers and your financial support.  Without you, this trip would not be possible.  Here’s a few highlights, and of course, upon my return a full report with pictures.  So the itinerary looks a little like this:  we will be traveling to several places in India to preach and teach.  One place looks like the Evangelist training center in Darjeeling (where they grow the world’s best tea)!  While there we may have the opportunity to enter the country of Butan and preach.  I am really excited about this opportunity.  We will also be providing blankets, wheat, rice and a new sari to about 150 widows.  Another highlight of this trip is to relocate 500 orphans from the forest to their new homes near a large city where several churches can help oversee the orphans along with their full time personnel.  With your super financial assistance I will be able to give 2 motorcycles and 12 bicycles to Indian evangelists so that they can better carry out their ministerial duties.  This Mission trip is promising to be very exciting.  I covet your prayers for our team. The light Leonard shines so brightly for Jesus Christ here in New Mexico will soon be shining in India. Please keep Leonard and all in your prayers, including Leonard’s lovely wife Diana and family and the congregation at Valley View.
Just a side note, Leonard is celebrating his birthday this week and I would say he is at least looking a couple of years younger!
