chainsDear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,

We love you all so much!
I have been working with a lot of people who have had deep dark secrets in their lives and have carried guilt for years and years some 60 years!
They spend their entire lives running from regrets and hiding their shame. Guilt driven people are ruled by their memories. Ruled by memories and not God.  People that have been sexually abused, in some cases, allow their past to control their future. They feel they never can be “normal” They often punish themselves and sabotage their future. This is also fits many former drug addicts, alcoholics, etc. It also can fit for those who have gone through beatings by their husband, divorce, bankruptcy, business failures, etc.
When Cain sinned, his guilt disconnected him from God’s presence, and God said, “You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.” You see those that have not been delivered from their “ugly past” will wander, those that are connected to God will rise to a new level and leave behind the past. Even when it is not the fault of the person who was divorced, or beaten, or failed in business….people can take in all the blame and carry it with them all their life. But God heals.
We are products of our past, but we do not have to be prisoners of it. God’s purpose is not limited by your past. God has no limits! God created all! God knows all! Do not put God in a box! God is God! He can heal anything, do anything! He turned a murderer named Moses into a leader and a coward named Gideon into a hero! He can do amazing things in your life also!
God specializes in giving people a fresh start.
God’s Word says, “What happens for those whose guilt has been forgiven! …..What relief for those who have confessed their sins and God has cleared their record.” Psalm 32:1

lonlinessLoneliness
By Nicole Richardson Bryan
Never think that God wastes a moment of loneliness or tears cried out in loneliness. It is in those moments of deafening silence that we are most capable of hearing the voice of God. It is in those times when we think we may lose ourselves that we are truly discovering who we really are in Him and what our purpose is. The pain of loneliness is real but the joy of discovery and finding yourself once and for all is priceless in the end. It is in quiet solitude that we find our validation is only necessary from Him and we learn to depend upon Him and Him alone. Don’t run from or despise the lonely times. Embrace it even if you must embrace it in tears for it is making you whole, strong, confident, compassionate, and it is opening your ears and eyes to hear and see clearly. It is molding you into the person He sees and knows you are to become.
