Robert Baron who is in critical condition. Sgt. Baron is in a medically induced coma after he was hit by a car yesterday while investigating a storm related car wreck on I-25 near San Felipe Pueblo. The last report we have from the Albuquerque Journal, is that he is in the neurological intensive care unit at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Sgt. Baron’s wife is also a law enforcement officer with the U.S. Forest Service and they have a 10 year old son. Let us be in prayer for complete healing for Sgt. Baron, a Christmas miracle, in Jesus name, Amen!
The car that hit Sgt. Baron skidded off the icy road and struck him as he was investigating an accident scene. The driver of that car was not injured and no charges have been filed. The investigation continues.
The Albuquerque Journal reports that Sgt. Baron was promoted to his present position in the Sheriff’s Department, just last month.
