Continuing on, did you read, “The Ministry Within You …” ?
Bursting outside the walls of the church building, God wants the world to see The Church! God wants the world to believe in His Son, Jesus! God wants the world to see that the Church IS Jesus! Every moment of our day, we should answer this question to God: Am I reflecting the Love of God & WWJD?
WWJD –What would Jesus do?
In this world, it is not a matter of believing, it is more a matter of choices and making room for Christ in our life –in our heart and in our homes –in our ministry; and in our church! Believing is a matter of Heaven!
On the streets of ‘retail’ convenience –
[And don’t be surprised when that location changes] …
When the quality of “at your convenience” becomes uncomfortable in suitability
And/or less expedient for your immediate needs–
When the “convenience of ease” becomes more of a hassle … than opportune in our self-interest –
Remember to be patient a little longer!
Remember the restraint of kindness …
Remember WHY!
Bursting outside the walls of the Church,
You are the reflection of Christ others see and hear!
REFLECT JESUS, BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE!
When someone is doing to you what you would never do to anyone….
You are placed in a position “to want to” Judge & React; BUT WWJD?
Draw in the sand 1st -Jesus did!
Before you react –Before you speak –
Get your Word from God and discerning Wisdom from the Holy Spirit!
REMEMBER TO BE PATIENT A LITTLE LONGER …
With every trial and test … There comes ~
A Challenge and Opportunity to Change your Mind and Attitude
AND REFLECT JESUS…
In every test and trial, we are presented with a choice to remain in Jesus –
REMEMBER GOD IS LOVE AND HE IS PATIENT
Jesus IS our good character in Church!
We CAN reflect Christ, because we believe!
Perhaps you are like me and have learned pretty good patience by grace alone?
Yet, do you really think that you won’t be tempted to “overcome evil with evil”?
Very soon, I will share my testimony! It was supernatural -just like the times in the Bible! I experienced real life overcoming evil with good in every degree; and I saw something!
This may be the most powerful testimony I have ever shared before! And I don’t take this lightly … I am leaning on the Lord and looking to God for His perception and timing according to His good will!
I believe the Title will remain “The Battle of Rest –by Karen Rowe”
I hope you soak in these posts … and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal your knowledge to you. I really believe I am to share what I learned -but it is God who is our teacher; and it is the Holy Spirit who is doing the work for God’s Glory Alone!
Meanwhile, I will encourage you in the Word of the Lord that I needed to cling to that day! That I was NOT overcome by evil, but rather I overcome evil with good!
I was not as devenir in my resisting evil … as Jesus was. I was the child learning -and HE is my KING teaching! YET, I overcome by the same saving and powerful grace of God who was and IS with me; and I overcome by the Word of God!
Jesus spoke “It is Written … !” … I said, “God forgive me, I KNOW the word you gave me this morning … Do not LET any perverse words come out of MY mouth!”
I resisted and repented until my peace & REST returned -and God loved me all along the way! He never left me! God did not forsake me! God was WITH me!
…as God is with you …
Jesus exemplified! I repented and held on … and then I witnessed something amazing happen!
I needed my Word from the Lord and I held tight to this Word –Repenting (changing) -growing stronger along my stumbling way!
I reclaimed my rest and evil’s rest was disturbed!
