Robert baronAt the funeral yesterday for her husband, Sandoval County Deputy Sgt. Robert Baron, Krysia Baron said this to the driver of the car that struck her husband and resulted in his death, “I can only imagine what you are feeling, and I want you to know I hold no bitterness toward you, you are forgiven.”  From Jessica Manzanares of Albuquerque: I’m literally in tears. Just watching the news and hearing the wife of Sergeant Robert Baron speak at his funeral. She addressed the person who killed her husband in the accident well he was working. She said she forgives and holds nothing against them. That touched my heart because that is truly an act of God. The spirit of God of love flowing through her. She truly did something that changes everything about the feelings that person feels for the accident. That’s all God.

Amen! Amen! Thank you for those comments Jessica! We are covering Mrs. Baron and 10 year old son Colter in our prayers. Over 800 people attended the service for Sgt. Baron yesterday. Thank you Lord for the life of Robert Baron and the legacy he leaves us.

John 16:33

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Ephesians 4:32

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Matthew 6:14-15

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

  1. Definitely a powerful witness of the fruit she bears because she is rooted in Christ! That is the only way in a situation like this she can speak those words from her heart. God bless her and we pray…Lord, I ask You to comfort Mrs. Baron at this time of loss. Surround her with your love and peace. Thank you for filling her so full of You that she testifies of your grace and mercy. In Jesus name, Amen.
