When Choi Sung-bong decided to sing on the talent show “Korea’s Got Talent”, he had no idea just how many millions of hearts he would win! And that includes mine!
At the age of three years old, he was left at an orphanage. By the time he reached five, he ran away from the orphanage due to the beatings he would receive and somehow survived living on the streets for years. Sleeping in stairwells or public toilets, he managed to get GED’s for both elementary school and middle school degrees and high school was the first school he attended.
Choi does not sing because he thinks he is very good; he just enjoys it and wants to be like ‘normal people’. Now, at 22 years old he is blessed with a singing voice that could only come from Heaven.
