DorisI thank God for Pastor Dewey and the ministry that he has shouldered as a result of responding to the Call laid upon him. I had a “pretty significant” heart attack last Saturday (11/30) night and I waited to go to the urgent care center for far too long. As a result, I now have severely decreased heart function. I have known Pastor Dewey for many years and know that he is a man of God and believes in hands-on intercessory prayer. I have been a follower of Christ since I turned my life over at the age of 12. And I have seen miracles happen. I got in touch with Dewey and he made arrangements to some to my house to pray with me after I came home from the hospital. It is one thing to pray on your own it is another to have someone come to you and join his prayers with yours. I think that people are so lonely and alone today and that is only exacerbated when our health prevents us from leaving our house and attending our church, bible study or prayer group. (if we have these). Visitation ministries are almost a lost art. Few people feel comfortable going to someone who is unfamiliar and ill and laying on hands, anointing with oil and praying for healing claiming the promises of Christ.

Thank you to all who prayed for me and who continue to pray. My life has changed but I am doing better than could ever have been expected and I credit that to Christ’s blessings on my life.

I am adding my plea to Pastor Dewey’s and others that you consider a gift to this ministry. I have been in church leadership and I know how much it costs to keep a ministry going. Please give generously.

God Bless, Doris Husted

We are so very touched by the letter Doris sent us, Kind words are like honey—sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. Proverbs 16:24. I have to say I was so very blessed to my visit with Doris. The last time I saw her was at her son’s funeral years ago. She has the heart of Jesus. I know her from her work at the Arc of New Mexico as Policy Director. Doris is the representative for the clients of the Arc at the Roundhouse during the Legislative session. I asked Doris if she still planned on being up at the session that starts in late January, and without batting an eye, she said yes! Doris is such Godly women, she loves people and fights for people with disabilities. Let us cover Doris in prayer as she heals, regains her strength and get’s ready for the upcoming Legislative session, we pray in Jesus name, Amen!

Doris loves to pray……..We talked about James 5 verse 13-16….is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise, Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. In Jesus name, Amen!

I am so blessed with one on one ministry. FGFGAM is a small, simple ministry that reaches out to others for Jesus Christ. As Doris said the day of our visit, so many people just want a touch, a touch of love, the touch of Jesus Christ. I am super blessed that God uses me in this way! I do not share this with you to boast in myself, I share it for the Glory of God! I share it so you can see the need to show your light for Jesus Christ, to share Jesus with all, to let you know what God is doing through this little ministry we call, For God’s Glory Alone.

Acts 20:24 My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus.

That is my testimony to the world! Once you know you are walking in what the Lord has called you to do, WOW! It’s like…so POWERFUL! DYNAMITE, the favor of God! Amen!

As it teaches us in James 5:13. Is any one happy? Let him sing songs of praise, so that is what this post is all about! Singing Praises to our Lord for what He is doing here at FGGAM!

We are like the church in small town USA, serving people one at a time, doing the best we can with what we have, in the name of Jesus.

Or as our brilliant CTO Isaac Milleson reminded me at lunch on Friday, “FGGAM is a church for the USA and World. We get many, many calls from people all over the United States, looking for a church, for help. FGGAM is a church, it’s doors never close at FGGAM.ORG, we preach, teach, counsel, in-home and hospital visits, radio, and TV. For God’s Glory Alone.

We ask you to keep us all in your prayers we we go onto into 2014…..For God’s Glory Alone! Amen!
