I have a great deal of respect and honor for all martyrs of our faith; make no mistake about that. However, what our world desperately needs are “living martyrs” for our faith! I mean Christians who have died to all aspects of the fleshly self for our Christ and His Kingdom! There are far too many believers who keep their faith secret for fear their profits will go down, or their living will become more difficult. Living martyrs “seek first the Kingdom of God” above all else, and trust Him in spite of the costs.
Here is a letter of Testimony we received after Preaching this past Sunday at Christ Full Deliverance Ministries……..
To introduce myself, I am a retired U.S. Navy veteran of 22 years and have been working as a convenience store manager for the last 14 years or so in addition to a few other odds and ends. In my service I saw two tours of duty in Vietnam; was involved in the Grenada operation; evacuated Beirut 3 different times (twice under fire) and the Panama operation. My last tour of duty was as the communications officer for the Admiral on the east coast in charge of all the navy seals. 41 days into relaxing on 45 days of terminal leave prior to my navy retirement, the Admiral called me on a Friday afternoon and informed me to pack my bags, my retirement papers were being red lined and that we would be flying out together first thing Sunday morning to Saudi Arabia and eventually performed duties in Iraq in Operation Desert Storm.
Originally I was brought up in a Godly home but over the years that home unfortunately turned very progressive. Fortunately, I retained enough of my beginnings to see me through my military career. Subsequently, I did not necessarily become progressive but I did loose touch with the Church and Our Lord.
Only a few months ago my elder brother located in Dallas Texas passed away due to heart and lung conditions which at his early age of 66 was a complete surprise and shock to me. GOD said, “Pastor Dewey (who had not even met me yet), Rick needs us”. Along came Pastor Dewey and my spirits lifted. Let me explain I love my dogs as much as I love my own children; (they are all Gods children), and they all taught me an awful lot about love, care and compassion. So, only weeks after my brothers lose, we lost “daddys little girl” Suzy-Q from old age at 13 years. My heart was being ripped to shreds. GOD said, “Pastor Dewey, Rick needs us”. Along came Pastor Dewey and my spirits lifted. Only a few weeks later I lost my job, (keeping in my mind, I have not been unemployed since I was 12 years old, which is 48 years ago). At the age of 60 and knowing the current job and employment market; I was devastated !!! GOD said, “Pastor Dewey, Rick needs us AGAIN !”. Along came Pastor Dewey and an ease came over me. I am still unemployed but an ease came over me that I havent felt for years. As Pastor Dewey states: a window has been shut so a door could be opened and I am now fearless that I will find my way through that door !!! (THIS GUY DOESNT GIVE UP; NOR DOES HIS BOSS !!!)
A week later Pastor Dewey invited me to attend service at Christ Full Deliverance Ministries in Rio Rancho which is lead by Pastor Marty Cooper where he was going to be the guest speaker. My wonderful wife and very best friend Sandy and I were immediately made to feel at home by Pastor Cooper and the entire congregation; our hearts both lifted. Ive been in front of many well-known and important speakers during my military career including President Reagan but I have never in my life been so moved and impressed with a speaker as I was that day in that homely little Church. Pastor Dewey & his Supervisors above brought me from near depression and once again made me realize how little my problems are and brought my life back into the reality of our LORD and the mission of our Church. Pastor Dewey and his lovely wife Sharon do not care if they minister to one or one hundred.
At sea, sailors relied on lighthouses to find their way safely to port.
Pastor Dewey and his lovely wife are a lighthouse for any and all
Souls to find their way back to our Lord and Savior.

Amazing Testimony from my friend Mistie………
My husband is absolutely amazing. As I watch my mom die of cancer and experience the hardest time of my life, I am also experiencing the best and closest time in my marriage. He is right by my side; for every bathroom trip, every wheelchair ride and all the crying in between. He talks to her about heaven and tells her how much he loves her and that her grand kids will be okay. I have never felt so loved. I am so thankful to God for him.
Let us pray for Mistie’s Mom and the whole family!

Good morning everyone. This is an urgent call to prayer for our brother, Bobby Gonzales. He will be going through surgery today. The doctors hope to open the knee and clean out any infection. Bobby is on major antibiotics and is in massive pain right now. The doctors’ reports tell that the worst case scenario could be leg amputation. BUT — OUR GOD IS GREATER!! Please pray that God would give the doctors and nurses wisdom – and more importantly – that Bobby’s knee and leg – and his entire body would be healed!! WE BELIEVE!!
Also – pray for Bobby’s family – that God would continue to give them strength.

The brand new pastor and his wife, newly assigned
to their first ministry, to reopen a church
in suburban Brooklyn , arrived in early October
excited about their opportunities. When they saw
their church, it was very run down and needed
much work. They set a goal to have everything
done in time to have their first service
on Christmas Eve.

were ahead of schedule and just about finished.
On December 19 a terrible tempest – a driving
rainstorm hit the area and lasted for two days.
On the 21st, the pastor went over to the church.
His heart sank when he saw that the roof had
leaked, causing a large area of plaster about
20 feet by 8 feet to fall off the front wall
of the sanctuary just behind the pulpit,
beginning about head high.

handmade, ivory colored, crocheted tablecloth
with exquisite work, fine colors and a Cross
embroidered right in the center. It was just
the right size to cover the hole in the front
wall. He bought it and headed back to the church.
By this time it had started to snow. An older
woman running from the opposite direction was
trying to catch the bus. She missed it. The pastor
invited her to wait in the warm church for
the next bus 45 minutes later.
She sat in a pew and paid no attention to the pastor
while he got a ladder, hangers, etc., to put
up the tablecloth as a wall tapestry. The pastor
could hardly believe how beautiful it looked and
it covered up the entire problem area.
Then he noticed the woman walking down the center
aisle. Her face was like a sheet. “Pastor,”
she asked, “where did you get that tablecloth?”
The pastor explained. The woman asked him to check
the lower right corner to see if the initials, EBG were crocheted into
it there. They were. These were the initials of the woman, and she had
made this tablecloth 35 years before, in Austria .
The woman could hardly believe it as the pastor
told how he had just gotten “The Tablecloth”. The
woman explained that before the war she and
her husband were well-to-do people in Austria .

twas’ 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven’s gate.
their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
they could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
they were filled with..
such joy, they didn’t know what to say.
they remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
“where are we?” asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
“this is heaven.” declared a small boy. “we’re spending Christmas at God’s house.”
when what to their wondering eyes did appear,
but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
then He opened His arms and He called them by name.
and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring
those children all flew into the arms of their King
and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
one small girl turned and looked at Jesus’ face.
and as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, “I’ll take care of mom and dad.”
then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe
then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand,
“Let My power and presence re-enter this land!”

Dear Dawson, Why did God make the earth and us along with it? He doesn’t really need us, so why did he create anything?
Great question, and you’re not the first to ask it. King David asked essentially the same thing:
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers … what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?” (Psalm 8:3-4).
Why did God make us? To answer that, we need to know three things:
First, and you mentioned this in your question, it wasn’t because he needed us: “The God who made the world and everything in it … is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything” (Acts 17:24-25).
And he didn’t make us because he was lonely. Long before we were here, God already had “company” with his Son and the Holy Spirit, referred to in Genesis 1:26, “Let us make man in our own image.”
And he didn’t make us because he needed his ego fed. It’s not like God made us to satisfy some craving to be worshiped. God is totally secure in who he is—without us.
Second, despite not needing us, God chose to create us anyway, out of his great love: “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3). Yes, God loved us before he even created us. It’s impossible to get our heads around that idea, but it’s true; that’s what “everlasting” love means.
God is love (1 John 4:8), and because of that love and his wonderful creativity, he made us so we can enjoy all that he is and all that he’s done.
Third, God created us to fulfill his eternal plan. I could write pages and pages about this, but suffice it to say that God, in his infinite wisdom, chose to make us a part of his eternal plan.
What part do we play in this plan? Well, the Bible is full of instructions for how we should live our lives. But here are a few key verses to remember:

That’s why we’re here. But it’s also important to note that we have a choice in all of this. When God created us, he didn’t make us pawns in some cosmic chess game. We’re not his toy soldiers. God gives us freedom of choice.
Bottom line: God may not need us, but we certainly need him. I hope you’ve made the choice to put your trust completely in him—and play an exciting part in his loving, eternal plan.

It was called Swap Shop and I am one of the old guys that used to do that on radio when radio was radio I am old as dirt and was with Marconi when he invented radio swap shop was a great way to being people together and met basic needs of the community also did a program on KGCX Radio in Sidney, Montana and Williston, North dakota in the 70′s called Ask your neighbor, people would call up and ask a questions…..do you have a recipe for oyster dressing? Those were the great days of radio….
