Yesterday in my travels around Albuquerque, after filling up on the west side where we live, I saw that gas was below $3.00 a gallon on the east side, at $2.83 a gal at one station. Some good news for all of us! I am thankful for the price drop as I travel New Mexico to preach the Word of God. Gas prices have fallen to their lowest level in 33 months. The average price of gas nationwide has dropped from $3.74 per gallon in February to $3.19 on Thursday. Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri and Oklahoma have seen their statewide average cost sink below $3.00 per gallon, a price not seen in years. The statewide price in New Mexico is at $3.03.
