How Low Can Obamacare Go ?

ObamaCare Poll Numbers Drop – – AGAIN !

President Obama is struggling to stop the steady drip in his health care law’s popularity. Another poll conducted by CBS News depicts a startling drop in support showing public discontent for the law and his job performance. Reaching a new low, President Obama’s approval dropped to 31 percent with reference to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). That’s down 12 points since the October ‘roll-out’. Only 7 percent of respondents said the president’s health law is working ‘well’.

According to the poll, overall approval for the president dropped to 37 percent from 46 percent just last month. While poll numbers amongst Republicans remains fairly constant, this reflects new skepticism among Democrats and Independents alike. Among women, who are some of the president’s core supporters, the president has also lost traction. A Washington Post-ABC poll showed just 44 percent of women approve of his job, while 52 percent disapprove.

Speaking Wednesday at the Wall Street Journal CEO Council meeting, the president noted that nobody in Washington is doing well in the polls right now. But Obama stressed that the administration must fix the health care website and acknowledged concern over signing up enough people to make the marketplaces work. “It’s something that we have to pay attention to,” Obama said. This also indicates the president has no intention of ‘giving up’ on the ACA.

The CBS poll of 1,010 adults was conducted November 15-18 and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
