crime tapeAs we discussed today during, “This is the World we live in” Noon Mondays on AM 730 KDAZ, KOB TV reported that New Mexico has been listed as one of the top five most dangerous states in the country.

Analysis website, 24/7 Wall St., looked at FBI statistics from last year.

The website listed New Mexico as the fourth dangerous.

It says that both the rape and violent crime rates are both the fourth worst in the United States.

It also cited the fact that New Mexico has one of the highest rates of drug use in the country.

This past weekend in Albuquerque, a 12 year old boy and his 6 year old brother witnessed their father stabbing to death their mother. New Mexico ranks 10th in the nation for women being killed by men. We, the Church, must speak to this violence! It will take a change of hearts, hearts of Jesus Christ to defeat this darkness. Gambling, casino’s,  poverty, and high school drop outs are also huge problems in New Mexico. All these problems lead to crime.

This is not a Republican or Democrat problem it is a heart problem.

The Church must speak to this awful situation.

An increase in laws and police officers is not the solution, hearts of Jesus, is the answer.

We must help.

Let us be in prayer over this. Let us carry out the Great Commission in New Mexico.

We also pray for the family in Albuquerque that just lost their Mother and for their Father, we pray in Jesus name!

We will be talking about this at the FGGAM Conference on Oct. 15th at the Santa Fe Church of God, for more information on the Conference see the top front page of our website.
