Pastor Dewey note: Just a reminder that October is Pastor’s Appreciation Month. Here is Steve Stucker: 
Morning Inspiration: Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and warn you against all that is wrong. Think highly of them and give them your wholehearted love because of their work. 1st Thessalonians 5:12Many people never stop to think about how they treat their pastors and ministry leaders. I’m very blessed with a lot of love, and positive feedback…honestly, much more than I deserve. Yet, I know many others, who rarely hear a kind word from those they serve. Nowhere in Scripture does it teach us to whine and complain about every little thing we don’t like about a teaching, or an element of service. A day or two behind the scenes with those who serve God, would open our eyes to the challenges, difficulty and even pain they face every single day! Here, we’re reminded to ‘think highly of them’, and give them the love and honor they deserve. Many a great pastor has given up in discouragement, or been chased off by a wall of silence, when all they needed was some love and support. And don’t forget about all the assistant pastors, Sunday school teachers and other ministry leaders (as well as their helpers). A kind note, a sincere compliment, or a word of encouragement can make all the difference. In this way, you can actually work for Jesus, through your kindness and support of those who work for Him.
