Opened my eyes and what did I see? A deer bedded down so beautifully!
She was chewing “bubblegum” just beyond the fallen tree! Okay maybe not bubblegum, but doing what she was made to do!
The wind blew, the rain fell, the deer must have been at the buffet all night long … seemingly unaffected by the storm!
And that fallen tree … think also of you and me … A seed springs up, a tree grows strong … BUT strong as it may when those roots get disturbed, the wind is powerful … it breaks in the middle [smack into] and falls to the ground! A massive, powerful and unimaginable thing!
What a sight to see!
Oh how I wish I could have seen what all went on outside last night … while I was resting in the house and protected all night!
Creation is a beauty to see! And in that Creation, we can understand more about the Creator! THE CREATOR, whom we call God and some Father God … the same One who loves you and me and all He has made!
And now I can only imagine … and think of Jesus and all God has done to bring us back to a place of the goodness in Creation!
Now the sun comes up and a new day is dawning and I just simply say, Thank you Lord that tree landed so nicely! … and thank you Father for this day Today … Thank you Jesus that you didn’t run and hide from me!
NOW let’s read the Word of God in Ephesians Chapter One and Verses 5-7:
…5He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, 6to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace…
May we live to be “for the praise of the glory of His grace…Ephesians 1:6…” and thank God for something good Today …
“And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased (Matthew 3:17).”
