Let us pray for America

This is the prayer the Lord has given me to share this day, Lord have mercy.

With the different postings we have had in such a short time this week, such Moral decay in America.

Let us pause, and pray, and listen to our Lord.

Lord, we pray that you will indeed open our eyes. Help us to acknowledge that we are very inadequate people. We do not know how to solve our problems. There is no course we can take that will deliver us from ourselves. Help us, Lord, to come and worship at your feet, to recognize that you have come into the world to give us light in our darkness, to lead us through the bewildering paths that we must trod, and bring us to the place of cleansing and of opened eyes. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let us not give up, as God’s people we are told in His Word to occupying until He returns, to be Salt and Light, to carry out the Great Commission, to make the Kingdom visible to a darkened world, to help bring others to Jesus!
