Dear Family of our =
Lord Jesus Christ,
Thank you my Dear friends for coming by for a CUP here today.
PRAISE GOD! Just got a text from Mable here at 6=
:29am that she just heard from her son Joesph and he will be at her house s=
hortly. Mable thanks you all so much for =
your prayers! AMEN PTL!!!!

I was just about to send the CUP and then I get Mable’s text! God=
‘s timing! PTL! Hallelujah!!!!!
As I write this mornings CU=
P, you are on my mind. You see. I so look forward to each day to send you a=
CUP of love! This is the most =
precious time of my =
day. The gathering here at the CUP warms my heart and soul. I pray over all=
your names everyday.

Kind words are like honey–=
—sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. Proverbs 16:24
A true friend is=
a gift from God and one who points us back to Him.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be=
transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern w=
hat is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
 Romans =
12:2

True friends help us in our daily walk with Jesus Christ=
.

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. Whoever tends a fi=
g tree will eat its fruit, and he who guards his master will be honored. As=
in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man. Sheol a=
nd Abaddon are never satisfied, and never satisfied are the eyes of man. Th=
e crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and a man is tested =
by his praise
 Proverbs 27: 17-27

I love my Dear Friends, I love all of you.I was in the 10th grade=
and had a best friend, we just had a great time of fun. All of a sudden on=
e day he never returned my calls. I have never heard from him to this day. =
I never knew why he ended our friendship, it broke my heart. Maybe that is one reason I so treas=
ure friendship! Friendships are=
precious!  We also have a friend who will =
never leave us in Jesus! I find that my best friends are of like mind and s=
pirit. To take  on the mission the work the Lord has given us (Luke 20=
:24) Sharon and I have been surrounded by many friends like you=
. A true friend affirms you and corrects you in the ways of Jesus Christ. Trust =
is a key, no gossip. There is a true peace in Jesus when friends are togeth=
er.
True friends in Jesus Christ have n=
o motive other then to show the love of Jesus Christ.

Question: “What is true friendship according to the=
Bible?”

Answer:

The Lord Jesus Christ gave us the de=
finition of a true friend: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay =
down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.=
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’=
s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learn=
ed from my Father I have made known to you” (
John 15:13-15). Jesus is th=
e pure example of a true friend, for He laid down His life for His “friends=
.” What is more, anyone may become His friend by trusting in Him as his per=
sonal savior, being born again and receiving new life in Him.

There is an example of true friends=
hip between David and Saul’s son Jonathan, who, in spite of his father Saul=
‘s pursuit of David and attempts to kill him, stood by his friend. You will=
find that story in 1 Samuel chapter 18 through chapter 20. Some pertinent =
passages are
1 Samuel 18:1-419: 4-7; 20:11-17, 41-42.

Proverbs is another good source of wisdom regarding friends. =
“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” (=
Proverbs 17:17). “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a fr=
iend who sticks closer than a brother” (
Proverbs 18:24). The issue her=
e is that in order have a friend, one must be a friend. “Wounds from a frie=
nd can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses” (
Proverbs 27:6). “As =
iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” (
Proverbs 27:17).

The principle of friendshi=
p is also found in Amos. “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3 KJV). Friends are of like mind. The truth that comes from all of =
this is a friendship is a relationship that is entered into by individuals,=
and it is only as good or as close as those individuals choose to make it.=
Someone has said that if you can count your true friends on the fingers of=
one hand, you are blessed. A friend is one whom you can be yourself with a=
nd never fear that he or she will judge you. A friend is someone that you c=
an confide in with complete trust. A friend is someone you respect and that=
respects you, not based upon worthiness but based upon a likeness of mind.=

Finally, the real def=
inition of a true friend comes from the Apostle Paul: “For scarcely for a r=
ighteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even da=
re to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we we=
re still sinners, Christ died for us” (
Romans 5:7-8). “Greater love has n=
o one than this, than to lay down one=E2=80=99s life for his friends” (John 15:13). Now, that is true friendship!

Sharon and I have friends i=
n Jesus like Bill and Monica Ruhl. Pastor Bill is V=
ice Chairman of FGGAM. A few years ago Bill just walked into my office at K=
KIM and said, “I am here to serve.” He is a gift from God. Then I met his l=
ovely bride, Monica! She has spoken words into me and sent me writings like=
the one you are about to read. Monica is so gifted. Please pray over this =
devotional as you read it, save it.
I encourage you to read thi=
s at least three times and then pray.
Recently the Lord gave me=
a vision. In this particular vision I saw the form of a human body in my s=
pirit. Head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, torso, waist, legs, fee=
t, toes. You get the picture. The Spirit of the Lord began to explain to me=
that over the last several years God=E2=80=99s been watching everything ab=
out the body parts and how they are working in connection with the Head. He=
‘s been checking for: obedience, teachable spirit, submission, hearing, doi=
ng, attitudes, actions, personal disciplines, etc. You might say we’ve been=
under “divine observation” almost unaware. I got the impression that God h=
as angels that write things down about all this and they report it back to =
the Throne. At some point there will be a graduation of those growing and w=
alking in obedience to the Lord. They will walk in greater authority and be=
entrusted to accomplish God’s will and purpose individually and corporatel=
y in a new season/era directly ahead of us. God will fit together the body =
parts that are submitted to Him and this will become His end-time army who =
are under His government.
Then the Spirit of the Lo=
rd said to me: I AM about to shift many things so that My plans can=
and will be accomplished. There will be the removing and rebuilding=E2=80=
=94it=E2=80=99s RENOVATION TIME! I have vessels (many different kinds) in p=
lace who will be in the picture of this Kingdom operation. Angels (messenge=
rs) will release and issue My divine orders. I AM establishing “order” in M=
y house. I AM removing. I AM reproving. I AM demolishing. I AM abolishing. =
I AM rejuvenating. I AM enforcing. I AM establishing My order of direction =
that will fulfill My plans. I AM ALL AUTHORITY AND POWER. I AM THE TRUTH. I=
AM THE WAY. I AM THE LIFE. I AM YHWH.
=C2=B7 The swell of =E2=80=9C=
prayer movements=E2=80=9D are quickly growing and will continue to increase=
. There will be many different kinds of =E2=80=9Cprayer-skins=E2=80=9D whic=
h will produce momentum in the events of the unfolding revelations of the K=
ingdom of God. We are in a New Era.
=C2=B7 God is preparing a hab=
itation for His glory. What He assigns for us to do is a =E2=80=9Choly work=
=E2=80=9D. There will be more shifting, shaking, and changing. He will arra=
nge and assemble His parts that are designated to =E2=80=9Coccupy=E2=80=9D =
in this hour. We must therefore be attentive and hear what the Spirit of th=
e Lord is speaking.
=
=C2=B7 Be governed by the Sp=
irit of Truth! Truth will always challenge us to a higher degree of=
knowing Him that develops deeper intimacy.
 Comfort will keep us f=
rom our assent into God.
There is an interesting aspect to the renovation of the soul. It is diff=
icult to explain by human language. I am familiar with it by experiences I =
have observed in my life as I have sought to learn and know the Person Chri=
st.
Our souls have to be prepared and developed for greater revelations of G=
od. Even Jesus told his disciples just before He was crucified that He had =
many things to tell them, but they could not bear them at that moment. We a=
re changed by =E2=80=9Cdegrees=E2=80=9D. There has to be a finished work fo=
r each degree in order to enter into the next realm of revelation/glory. If=
the soul is not prepared, it will be unable to receive the next level of T=
ruth/revelation.
A type of building blocks or stones of Truth must be formed in the soul =
by the Spirit of Truth. As each block is fitted together with mortar and cu=
red, then another stone can be put in place. God knows how to build our sou=
ls in Truth. We need a regular committed Word and Prayer life (environment)=
for this to happen. Certain trials call us to the fact that we need =E2=80=
=9Cchange=E2=80=9D, =E2=80=9Choliness=E2=80=9D=E2=80=94God. Other trials te=
st us to see if change has formed in us. We must position ourselves with an=
attitude of thanksgiving to God for His Wisdom in the =E2=80=9Cmystery of =
change=E2=80=9D/transformation/metamorphoo (see Romans 11: 33-3=
6, AMP). Our resisting this prolongs the process and God must deal with (br=
eak) our pride. God=E2=80=99s intent isn=E2=80=99t misery, although change =
is often very difficult and painful because our soul (carnal nature) wars a=
gainst God. It is His love that puts us in the crucible of fire over and ov=
er removing the dross (impurities) from within us. I think in our early sta=
ges of development this is not easily seen or understood. As our souls beco=
me more purified we begin to see this reality that God is creating/forming =
Christ in us the hope of glory. In time we begin to see the fruit of change=
where we no longer act, behave, or desire things the way we once did. Inst=
ead we are deeply compelled to please God=E2=80=99s heart because we love H=
im above all things. It is in this profound place, the secret place, that o=
ur souls are being renovated, healed, restored and developed into maturity =
in Christ.
Our souls are a container of hundreds of departments. That=E2=80=99s why=
the salvation/transformation (metamorphoo) of the soul is=
a cooperative progressive work of the Holy Spirit =E2=80=9Crefining by fir=
e=E2=80=9D our inner man. He is creating the divine pure language of God in=
us=E2=80=94God=E2=80=99s DNA!
Our spirits are saved when we ask Christ into our hearts. However, in or=
der to walk above the circumstances in life as overcomers in Christ we must=
seek for transformation of the soul. The final goal is that Christ is livi=
ng in our minds, hearts, and will continually=E2=80=94we are completely own=
ed by Him. For obvious reasons we can see that these =E2=80=9Cprocesses=E2=
=80=9D involve time, discipline, and true devotion =E2=80=9Cto know=E2=80=
=9D Christ.
As the =E2=80=9Csubstance=E2=80=9D of Truth/Christ is built into our sou=
ls we become pillars of Light/Christ which are soon to be revealed as =E2=
=80=9Csons of God=E2=80=9D (Is 60:1-3; Is 61: 1-4, AMP).
=
=C2=B7
 =
Distractions (things that appeal or amuse our soul=E2=80=94the =E2=80=9CI w=
ants=E2=80=9D) will detain us. They are eddies that potentially dwarf growt=
h. When God does something it carries a =E2=80=9Cspirit of awe=E2=80=9D (ch=
ild-wonder) which produces =E2=80=9Creverence=E2=80=9D to Him Who is holy a=
nd this in turn produces transformation in the soul by means of uncreated L=
ight=E2=80=94the Light of God.
=C2=B7 Personal desires (soul=
ish desires) can take us quietly into idolatry.=
=C2=B7 Unforgiveness blocks L=
ife. Forgiveness moves through the BLOOD. Appropriate the BLOOD.
=C2=B7 Unteachableness hinder=
s growth. The Road is very narrow, indeed!
=
=C2=B7
 =
Being led by the Spirit of Truth exercises our faith IN God. We know that t=
he Word teaches us that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. If w=
e keep our eyes on Him, that is to say, that we are devoted to =E2=80=9C=
reading
the Person Christ=E2=80=9D explicitly diligently searching=
with all our hearts and minds, then =E2=80=9CHis Faith=E2=80=9D is what is=
imparted into us. We must grasp a very real issue=E2=80=94that what IS CHR=
IST will succeed. As Brad clearly shares we must be developed on the inside=
. Only what IS THE VIRTUES OF CHRIST should be operating in us. This is tru=
e Holiness which is His ultimate goal!
=
=C2=B7
 =
If we remain on the Vine there will be Fruit. It is, therefore, the Spirit =
of Truth that proceeds from the Father (John 15:26) intentionally purposed =
to renovate and transform the soul establishing as its goal the =E2=80=9Cfr=
uit of Christ=E2=80=9D within us from the Seed (Second Adam) becoming The T=
ree Of Life.
John 15:1-1=
7, AMP
I AM the True =
Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.
=
Any branch in =
Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, t=
akes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continu=
es to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.=
You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have give=
n you [the teachings I have discussed with you]. Dwell in Me, and I will dw=
ell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bea=
r fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, ne=
ither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the=
branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. Ho=
wever, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.=
If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] bra=
nch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, a=
nd they are burned. If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My w=
ords remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you wi=
ll, and it shall be done for you. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Fa=
ther is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true=
followers of Mine. I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; ab=
ide in My love [continue in His love with Me]. If you keep My commandments =
[if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and li=
ve on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in =
His love. I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in y=
ou, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and =
overflowing. This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I =
have loved you. No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affectio=
n] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends. You are My frie=
nds if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do. I do not cal=
l you servants (slaves) any longer, for the servant does not know what his =
master is doing (working out). But I have called you My friends, because I =
have made known to you everything that I have heard from My Father. [I have=
revealed to you everything that I have learned from Him.] You have not cho=
sen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you]=
, that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit=
may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the F=
ather in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you. This=
is what I command you: that you love one another.
