Standing in the Gap

Dewey gives insight on the news as he looks this week to three people who have stood in the gap for godly principles. Archbishop Michael Sheehan and New Mexico bishops stand up to the Santa Fe city council on traditional marriage. Governor Jack Dalrymple of North Dakota signed the personhood bill that returned rights to the unborn as soon as a heartbeat is detected. Finally, Florida Governor Rick Scott has stood up to a Florida University that allows its professors to profane the name of Jesus by stomping on the written form. Gov Scott will not settle for a simple apology, calling for an investigation of practices of the school.
