Alert – Free Speech in Danger
We are in the last hours of the legislature where things move very quickly – please act now!
The Senate passed legislation that seems harmless, but would do incredible danger to free speech, free assembly, and would restrict organizations to shed light on how our candidates/elected officials stand on important issues.
Senate Bill 15, which has a very generic name of “Campaign Finance Requirements” would require non profits to list all of their donors when even mentioning candidates names (on items like voter guides) around election time.
