Alert – Marriage Update
House Memorial 30, introduced by Bill McCamley (D-Dona Ana) passed today. This memorial requests that the New Mexico congressional delegation support gays and lesbians to sponsor their partner for citizenship.
This memorial passed by 1 vote. It does not go to the Senate, nor the Governor’s desk. What we need to do now is call our US Congressmen and let them know this is not what the people wanted!
Action Items:
Call your Representative and tell them that House Memorial 30 does not represent New Mexico’s values.
