Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Thank you for stopping for a Friday CUP with us! We love you all!

The next CUP you get will probably not be until next Thursday, as I will be unavailable

wisdomThis is the Word the Lord gave me this day for you…………

This scripture ties right in to today’s very special message by Monica Ruhl, one of the most important messages I have posted in the 15 years of doing the CUP!

2 Kings 2:9 “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.” AMEN! I pray that over all of you this day!

Elisha made a big request because he had come to know a BIG GOD! What BIG THINGS might GOD be pleased to do in

your life if only you would ask HIM?

This Saturday on Dewey and Friends a presentation of FGGAM Mable Lopez is with me as Dwight Brown shares his Awesome testimony Sat night on KAZQ CH 32 6pm
 friends
I am in AWE of GOD. Are you? really are you in AWE of our GOD? My friend Nick Hutchins of Las Cruces, NM keeps telling me I am a blessed man.
He keeps sending me those messages! You are right Nick. More than I can possibly think in my mind. I am seeing miracles
everyday, everyday! I repeat everyday! I encourage you to devour the Word of GOD, feed on that Word hourly, yes hourly and
pray constantly, oh WOW, you will become so close to the LORD you will hear music! The music of the Lord brings us peace,
strength, wisdom, guides our every step and word. You then will see miracles happen in your life and the life of others. The
Lord has a concert of blessings prepared for you, are you prepared for them?
I meet people everyday that say they know the Lord but are so confused as to what to do. We must teach people it is not
about us, it is all about GOD! Our Father in heaven. We are to have a close personal relationship with our Father. We will hear
Him through the Holy Spirit, the messenger. I like to tease people that I want you to get so close to Our Father that I want you

to be able to tell my what flavor of chewing gum He chews! LOL LOL!

I am about to share with you a write up by the Godly gifted Monica Ruhl of Global Destiny Ministries in Albuquerque. Monica’s

husband Pastor Bill is Vice Chairman here at FGGAM. When I saw this write up yesterday in my email, I wept tears of joy, of

release. Sharon and I are walking this walk that Monica writes about, it hit us right in our very heart and soul. Take your time

in reading this, slow down, and let the Lord show you new things. These words will INCREASE your life, if you take them in.
ARE YOU READY TO BE OFFERED?

“I AM ALREADY BEING POURED OUT AS A DRINK OFFERING.” (2 Tim 4:6)
“I am ready to be offered.” It is a transaction of “will”, not of sentiment.  Tell God you are ready to be offered; then let the consequences be what they may, there is no strand of complaint now, no matter what God chooses.  God puts you through the crisis in private, no one person can help another. Externally the life may be the same; the difference is the “will”.  Go through the crisis in will, then when it comes externally there will be no thought of the cost.  If you do not transact in will with God along this line, you will end in awakening “sympathy for yourself.” [that is siding with your feelings that oppose God].
“Bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.”  The altar means fire—burning and purification and insulation for one purpose only, the destruction of every “affinity” that God has not started and of every “attachment” that is not an attachment in God.  You do not destroy it, God does; you bind the sacrifice to the horns of the altar; and see that you do not give way to “self-pity” when the fire begins.  After this way of fire, there is nothing that oppresses or depresses.  When the crisis arises, you realize that things cannot touch you as they used to do.  What is your way of fire? [obedience or not?]
Tell God you are ready to be offered, and God will prove Himself to be all you ever dreamed He would be.  –Oswald Chambers (early 1900’s)
·        The reality we must understand in what was penned above is that the true “exchanged life” is a life in which we must give up our “rights and will” [that is to say, the old Adam ruling] in exchange for God’s Rightness and His Will/desire that is in Christ.  This is what a true bondservant in Christ is!  Without this transaction there can be no “transformation” of the soul. This does not mean that we don’t have Salvation in Christ because Salvation is a “free gift” of God.  What it means, however, is that the “exchanged life in Christ” is the only way to an “overcoming life”—a life of His Victory!
·        The “let-go” life is a life surrendered in Christ that seeks to follow His instructions and learn/know His ways.  In order for this to happen we must spend time with God in the Word and prayer—communing with Him consistently and regularly.  The benefits of this are “accumulative”.  When we are unwilling to obey God, life in this world will become harder for us simply because we have directed ourselves away from Truth/LIGHT.  There is no life in the old nature.  It is an enemy to God.  So we must learn bind the sacrifice with cords to the altar of fireand allow God to purify our hearts in Him.  At this meeting place in God we must understand that His fire is the fire of love/agape designed to consume what hinders our relationship in Christ. Some of these extractions from our hearts can be quite painful, but they are the beautification in which we must embrace without complaining.  Complaining is a footprint of immaturity.  God is very skillful and wise at what He does as the great physician in our soul.  We must come to know and trust Him completely as we follow the Light He is shining on our path.

·        The words of Christ must become love-letters in our hearts.  We must see that all of God’s dealings are the way of TRUTH, LIGHT, and LOVE.  If we don’t see the words of Christ as such, we will continue to resist the Truth and live a life without the inheritance of full Victory in Christ (the overcoming life).

·        For our own safety and wellbeing the days directly ahead require fires of purification.  The greater the purification we experience the greater the ability to endure to the end.  God is seeking hearts that are willing to give up their “rights and will” that He may display His glories in His Bride (the overcomers).  It is decision time to accept further separation allowing God to have His way in us that in the end will achieve the highest grace of all, being Tabernacled—“one with God”.

Proverbs 17:3
The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the LORD tests hearts. (NASU)

Rev 3:18-22
Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be [truly] wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see.

Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. [Prov 3:12.]

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.

He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne.

He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).  (AMP)

In prayer I have been asking God much about the church.  He let me experience His heart in a way that communicated to me His desire is for the church to display His glory.  For several days, I felt God’s “uncreated heart” beating in me.  It was all too glorious!  I was somehow in the paradise of God’s heart.  And His heart is like no human heart.  It exceeds what we know as love.

After this experience, God showed me how he sees His church right now—as the woman caught in the act of adultery (See 2 Cor 11:2-4).  The church has gotten caught up in loving many things that are of the world instead of loving God wholly/entirely…Making God her priority/focus…Desiring God above all things so that what flows out of us is from “this place in God”.  By way of His “grace” and “truth” the Lord is going to visit the church and open her eyes to this reality.  The reality that Jesus is our most valuable gift and eternal treasure.  He will lift up our eyes to see His exquisite “uncreated beauty”—heavenly, holy, true living Virtue.  The Virtue of LIGHT!   ~Monica Miller-Ruhl, www.globaldestinyministry.com
Jesus Loves Me(For Seniors)While watching a little TV on Sunday instead of going to church, I watched a Church in Atlanta honoring one of its senior pastors who had been retired many years. He was 92 at that time and I wondered why the Church even bothered to ask the old gentleman to preach at that age. After a warm welcome, introduction of this speaker, and as the applause quieted down he rose from his high back chair and walked slowly, with great effort and a sliding gate to the podium. Without a note or written paper of any kind he placed both hands on the pulpit to steady himself and then quietly and slowly he began to speak….

“When I was asked to come here today and talk to you, your pastor asked me to tell you what was the greatest lesson ever learned in my 50 odd years of preaching. I thought about it for a few days and boiled it down to just one thing that made the most difference in my life and sustained me through all my trials. The one thing that I could always rely on when tears and heart break and pain and fear and sorrow paralyzed me… The only thing that would comfort was this verse………

“Jesus loves me this I know.
For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong,
We are weak but He is strong…..
Yes, Jesus loves me…
The Bible tells me so.”

When he finished, the church was quiet. You actually could hear his footsteps as he shuffled back to his chair. I don’t believe I will ever forget it. A pastor once stated,

“I always noticed that it was the adults who chose the children’s hymn ‘Jesus Loves Me’ (for the children of course) during a hymn sing, and it was the adults who sang the loudest because I could see they knew it the best.”

“Senior version of Jesus Loves Me”

Here is a new version just for us who have white hair or no hair at all. For us over middle age (or even those almost there) and all you others, check out this newest version of Jesus Loves Me.

JESUS LOVES ME

Jesus loves me, this I know,
Though my hair is white as snow
Though my sight is growing dim,
Still He bids me trust in Him.
(CHORUS)

YES, JESUS LOVES ME.. YES, JESUS LOVES ME..
YES, JESUS LOVES ME FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.

Though my steps are oh, so slow,
With my hand in His I’ll go
On through life, let come what may,
He’ll be there to lead the way.

(CHORUS)

When the nights are dark and long,
In my heart He puts a song.
Telling me in words so clear,
“Have no fear, for I am near.”

(CHORUS)

When my work on earth is done,
And life’s victories have been won.
He will take me home above,
Then I’ll understand His love

(CHORUS)

I love Jesus, does He know?
Have I ever told Him so?
Jesus loves to hear me say,
That I love Him every day.

Every day is a gift .. that’s why it’s called the Present

Thanks to Darlene Quiring for sending this!
