TRUTH is Not Popular

Dear family of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Thank you for your response to the needs of baby Cherish! We love you all! Amen!

Truth is not popular.

Let me address lying with you today with the help of the Buffalo Gap, Texas Round-Up News and Sel Graham.

This is the kind of thing that does not make me popular, but I am not here to be popular. I am here to share what God tells me to. Since forming FGGAM our property has been vandalized more than once with graffiti on our garage doors, house broken into, identity theft……being yelled at from  people that walk by our house! Buffy has four bb’s in her from someone shooting her!!!! We were shocked when Dr. Martin showed us the x-rays, during a cancer check-up. I have had to call the Police more times in the last 2 years than anytime in my life. And we live in a nice neighborhood! LOL! I do not say or write popular things. But God has given us work to do. telling the truth in America now-a-day is not popular. Many don’t care to hear the truth.

What has happened to my America?

It seems my country is in love with lying.

Telling the truth has become hard for so many Americans, even so called Christians.

When I was growing up in the 50’s and 60’s it was just instilled into you not to ever lie.

You knew lying was dead wrong, even non-church goers knew that.

We knew as kids if we lied, we would get are butt whipped.

Now in America we have adults who make a living by lying…….lying is an epidemic in America.

In fact it is one of the main reasons America is falling.

Just tell the truth!

How can we raise up children in this country and expect things to be better when they cannot trust adults?

Half truths are lies, people try to cover up the mud.

Our society is being built on lies and not the truth.

In the Buffalo Gap Round-Up newspaper of Buffalo Gap, Texas,  Sel Graham wrote this and I added some comments. Sel Graham is from Austin Texas, West Point graduate. He believes that honesty is a top issue as we do here at FGGAM.

A lie is a false statement which is intended to deceive.

Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Propaganda Minister, is the father of effective lying. He observed, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it,

people will believe it.” Politicians (I might add here it’s just not Politicians, lies are in the Body of Christ, we all must be accountable) have used

Goebbels’ principle successfully. No matter how much a lie is shown to be false, some people will believe it is true.

To quote the first two-thirds of that famous saying by Abraham Lincoln, “You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of

the time.” That seems good enough for government political work.

Sadly, politicians can win by lying. Too often, the penalty for a politician lying to the public is being elected. (I once again say, this shoe fits many in

America)

NEWS FLASH: President Obama has lied to the American people. The list is to long for here. See Jack Cashill’s book, YOU LIE.

Benjamin Franklin warned, “Half a truth is often a great lie.” Half a truth can be extremely specious. Example: It is reported by usually reliable

sources that President Obama did not lie to the public on August 12, 20014. This may be half a truth which Franklin warned about.

There are rumors that President Obama is capable of telling the truth. However, those rumors may be lies.

Many people actually believe that Americans are enjoying the extra money from the healthcare savings promised by Obamacare. Many believe

that California video producer Nakoula Nakoula caused the attack on Benghazi. Many believe that Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl is a national

hero because he was traded for five high-ranking terrorists. Many believe that Obama’s top adviser,

Iranian-born Muslim sympathizer Vallerie Jarret is fair and balanced in her advice to the President.

Lying1

Many believe that ther war against ISIS, with no U.S. boots on the ground, can be successful. Some may ecven beleive our President joined the

Frequent Fliers Club of Air Force One in order to save taxpayers a lot of money. Surely everyone knows that the word “smidgen,” used by the

President in the IRS scandal, means overwhelming amount of doublespeak.

Aesop, in his famous Fable about the shepherd boy who cried “wolf,” warned, “you cannot believe a liar even when he tells the truth.” So don’t lie or spread lies. (DO NOT GOSSIP CHURCH!)

Too many American simply don’t give a hoot about the truth.

God Save America by seeking Your truth and by not tolerating lies.

Sel Graham

We cannot be the America we were as long as we are on a track of lies.

PS: I wonder how many American know who Hitler was? Lincoln? Have you seen a history text book in our Public schools lately?

What does God’s Word say about lying?

Proverbs 6:16-19

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Proverbs 19:9

A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish.

Proverbs 12:22

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.

Psalm 101:7

No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes.

Colossians 3:9-10

Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.

PS…My daddy, Wally Moede, WW II Vet, Sgt. U.S. Marines, Fireman, Transportation Director for years in Windom, Minnesota, most of all was a man of God, Godly husband and Father. Daddy said this, “Always tell the truth son, even if it hurts!”

America has become soft, it is afraid to tell the truth, afraid of hurting feelings, of not being liked, or afraid of not getting elected or re-elected, or afraid of losing Church members and donors.

Here at FGGAM we will always tell the truth, even if it hurts!

Don’t Hide From The Truth: Albuquerque is Violent, Stolen Cars, Robberies and Shootings

This post by Shari Johnson really preached to me this morning:

I wish I could say that quicker. Meaning that I wish that I got “it” (the understanding of God’s plan) earlier. I wish that when I was facing a struggle in my life back here, I could see “waaaay” out there and understand why I must go through what I’m going through. If I’d be honest with myself I usually know why; it’s because I’m stupid. I sin, I don’t wait on God, I design my life and then ask for God’s stamp of approval. That’s not how God works. God allows me to go ahead and play house with my life and then He comes in, moves all my furniture out and leaves me sitting with nothing and starting from scratch.

That wasn’t really the case with Job. He was a good man, he trusted God, he prayed and sacrificed, went to church three times a week, gave to the widows fund and bought Girl Scout cookies every time they came to the door. He did not deserve this treatment! I don’t’ want to make light of Job’s issues of life, lest I might face even one of them and crumble to my knees crying for mercy. What Job went through I can’t fathom, nor do I want to. But it still didn’t change the fact that you never assume you’re without sin.

In the final “but now” of Job’s life he gets it. He now understands that he was a part of a bigger plan, one that would still have us talking 4,000 years later. Is that not amazing!

Job 42:5

I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

I get it God. Not only did Job get it, he gave it.

He gave the repentance necessary to heal his relationship with the Lord. Job was a righteous man, but he was not a sin free man. During his days of despair in the worst of it all, as his wife forsook him, his friends ridiculed him and his body was racked with misery, he questioned God. I would have too and likely worse than that. But in the end Job tells God, I’m sorry. And at God’s urging so did the three Awful Amigos.

And it was so, that after the Lord had spoken these words unto Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

Job had spoken what was right? Complaining doesn’t surprise God, and He’s up to it. But self-righteousness, nope… He’ll have no part of it. Job’s sin wasn’t the complaining, it was that he didn’t think he’d sinned, and he had. The bible is clear that there is “None Righteous.” But we can get in that mode can’t we? We know we’re sinners, but we’re not as bad as “they” are. We’re quick to say when a sinner falls that “we seen it coming.” But when we fall… “why on earth did that happen!”

Maybe because of sin, or maybe because it’s a part of a plan “waaaay out there” that will have us standing in awe of the great things God has done.

I don’t like trouble, aches, pains or heartaches. But it is those very things that usually draw us to God and drive us to our knees acknowledging Who it is that’s in charge of the universe. Just as the abrasive sanding down of a piece of wood brings out the grain of artistic beauty, so does the troubles in our life. Everything we go through now has us in a position to encourage a brother or sister in Christ to hang on, they’ll make it too!

Job’s friends repented, but not until God called them out on it. Learn from Job, go first… God’s first place rewards are way better!!!

This post by Laura Rosecrans is very inspiring!

A Grandma Affected By Abortion

me and mom 2

My name is Carmen Rockwell and I am Laura Rosecrans’ mother!  I would like to share with you my experience as a post-abortive grandma.

My daughter Laura was 16 years old when she made a decision that brought much pain to her throughout many years. It was very recently that I had full knowledge of the events that led her to such a drastic decision.

Now, as I think about my failure as a parent back then, I have begun to recollect some of the incidents of that time. I had just lost my mother (she died in 1981) and I took her death very hard for she was my all. She was the center of my life (at the time I did not realize how that left Laura totally abandoned – emotionally and spiritually).

If you have heard Laura’s testimony this is where it begins. A very lonely, abandoned child seeking the love she did not have at home.

depression-72319_640

I confess that while she was desperately seeking for a strong moral leader, I was a very fearful, passive woman-child, therefore I was not able to provide the stability she needed. Laura’s father had died when she was 2 years old, and we had moved in with my mother. In a sense Laura and I became more like sisters than mother and daughter.

I still don’t remember my reaction when I found out about her abortion (after-the-fact), but knowing my state of mind at that time, I am sure my reaction was not a very nice one nor my words very kind. Throughout the years the knowledge of her abortion was spoken in very veiled words, never fully acknowledging that it had happened and that it was hurting her.

If we had gone on with our own lives spinning out of control as they were for the next 3 to 5 years neither one of us would be alive today, I totally believe so, but the Lord mercifully intervened and He came into our lives and rescued us.

I surrendered my life to Him in 1986 and Laura did the same in 1987.cross-423157_150 However, it wasn’t until 2014, that she finally allowed the Lord to completely heal her through the “Surrendering the Secret” Bible study. Laura found the peace and forgiveness she had been seeking for thirty-three years.  Immediately, the Lord gave her the command to, “Go and tell other women suffering the same pain that there is forgiveness and peace for such as they!” Being a visionary she immediately gave her all to that task. Many have been the women she has already touched with her testimony.

It was listening to this testimony that finally woke me and made me aware that just as she had suffered for 33 years, I had taken the easy way out and had buried the situation in the deepest parts of my being. I was aware of her unhappiness and suffering, but I never confronted the reality of her abortion.

So, after allowing the truth that I had buried down for so many years to hit me between the eyes, (my heart, really) I did not know how to react to all this information that was now being brought into the open.  My first thoughts were what a horrible mother I had been, and where was I when all this happened, when I was supposed to be there for her, offering her my love and my protection.

heart-368485_150

After listening to her heart breaking testimony and God working in my heart, I have decided to be totally supportive to Laura, since I had not been there when it had all happened, (physically I was, but not spiritually nor emotionally).  Now, I am by her side and will help her as much as I can. I pray the Lord will give me the wisdom to be the best mother she can have.

I have started by becoming part of her ministry which involved becoming certified to lead a “Surrendering the Secret” Bible study.

In order to understand more of what these precious women have to go through as they do the study, Laura decided I needed to go through the study with Pam Walker, a beautiful sister that had been healed when she went through the study with Laura.

As I went through it, I still had no connection with what Laura had gone through, not only that but I felt no connection to my grandson, John, as Laura had named her baby boy.

But, on January 9, 2015, I attended a Ramah International Seminar which deals with the healing and understanding of post-abortive women. What I heard there was not new, for by now I have been volunteering a couple of days a week at Care Net Pregnancy Center and am now more familiar with the pain and sadness of an unwanted pregnancy.

The speaker, Sydna Masse, is a wonderful and beautiful sister in Christ. She reminded me very much of my Laura. These women are lionesses for the Lord.

At the end of the seminar, we had a Memorial Service to remember many of our lost babies. We were encouraged to go to the front and light a candle(s) for these precious angels, and immediately I knew that I must go up and light a candle to remember my baby, John. I went up and was shaking as I realized I was finally accepting that I had another grandson in heaven.

When I sat down, I bowed my head in prayer while the memorial service continued, it then hit me again. I remembered that I have another grandson, Nathan whom the Lord took before he was born in a miscarriage. Just as with John I had never acknowledged him or felt any connection to him and I immediately asked the Lord – and them – to forgive me for being such a detached grandma.

boysAs I kept my prayers and thoughts on what was going on, I suddenly “saw” them with the eyes of my spirit, two beautiful little boys, one about 12 with dark hair, the other one smaller about 6, with light hair, the older one was holding the little one’s hand and they were walking toward me.

It was then I understood, they are residing with the Lord, but now they have also come to reside in my heart. So to finish my story, I have seven, not five grandchildren, but two are in heaven waiting for me.

I am a very private person and not given to talk about my personal life and thoughts, but I want to encourage mothers and grandmothers of post abortive women to stand by them and extend loving arms and hearts. To let them know you forgive them, but most important – to let them know that JESUS has forgiven them.

Let them know they do not have to live with the pain, guilt and shame. Forgiveness is but a prayer away! Please encourage them to seek healing, for the world needs their voices to be lifted up to stop the madness of abortion.
