Rural New Mexico Hospital Begins ‘Ebola Parking Lot Check Point’

Roosevelt General Hospital in Portales, New Mexico is not taking any chances with Ebola. Starting today the hospital will begin screening patients and visitors for Ebola at a parking lot checkpoint. Every vehicle will be stopped. People will be asked questions regarding travel and symptoms, both visitors and patients. Larry Leaming who is the CEO of the Hospital said he’s taking these precautions to keep everybody safe. If anyone tests positive, the patient would be transferred to a quarantined section of the hospital. There are no Ebola cases in New Mexico at this time. More Here:
