Many call it a fight for liberty, comparing it to prohibition and the legalization of alcohol. Albuquerque and Santa Fe have been pushing to remove the stigma and penalty associated with the illegal use of marijuana.
In the case of Albuquerque, the effort to add an “advisory” question to the November ballot was vetoed by Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry, while Santa Fe choose voted 5-4 to decriminalize pot, making the city the first in the state to make possession of small amounts a civil infraction. Previously, the crime was a criminal misdemeanor.
The effort to change attitudes toward weed moved to the counties next, again using the Trojan horse of the advisory question. The Bernalillo County Commission voted 3-2 Monday to challenge Secretary of State Dianna Duran’s decision that state law doesn’t authorize advisory ballot questions.
Sec. of State Dianna Duran rejected the advisory questions last week, writing that “neither a municipal council nor county commission has unlimited discretion when it comes to placing questions on a General Election ballot.”
Now the New Mexico Supreme court has stepped in and issued a stay on the ballot. This is highly irregular for the court to interfere on a matter that the Secretary has such clear authority. So why is the court stepping in when such action creates such great expense to the state of New Mexico and threatens to disenfranchise absentee voters?
In a word the answer is debauchery.
The New Mexico Supreme court has embraced immorality. We saw this in its decision on same sex marriage and now we see the attempt to normalize chemically altered states of mind.
They did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. -Revelation 9:21
These are all the agenda of the enemy and those given to the spirit of anti-Christ. It is exactly what the Supremes endorse. Murders, they approve of abortion and oppose capitol punishment. Sorceries, as I’ve stated before sorceries in Greek is pharmakia or drug use. Sexual immorality, homosexuality, easy divorce, porn and more. Thefts, can be a varied and broad category but communism including imminent domain issues can be grouped here.
The only reason NMSC is stepping in is to advance the agenda of the godless that we have been seeing in recent years. The NM Supreme court is colluding with courts across the nation to corrupt the soul of America in direct violation of the federal law in all these areas.
We should understand the true nature of this battle. Each of the sins mentioned in Revelation work to darken the national soul, deaden the conscience the people and drive a deeper wedge between man and God.
