Mom and DadGrandpa and Grandma CarawayPictured above is of My Mom and Dad, Wally and Ruth Moede holding our son Lars who graduates on May 18th from Columbia in Chicago! Praise God! This picture was taken 22 years ago. That is the last time I say my Dad alive. Mom passed on about 2 years later. Also pictured is my Grandpa and Grandma Caraway, Floyd (my middle name) and Lena. This picture was taken at Grandpa and Grandma’s 50th Wedding Anniversary, that had to be in the late 60’s.   The picture at the bottom of this post,  was taken Thursday : Sharon was honored  by Presbyterian Hospital as one of their PRIDE award nominees. I am so proud of my wife! I am so blessed to be married to her! They said there are 3,000 nurses in the Presbyterian system in New Mexico! Lord thank You for all nurses throughout the world! Amen! I am so very grateful to have Sharon as my wife. How many wives would not bat an eye when their husband would come home and tell them, “Honey, God has told me to leave my full-time paying job to go into a non-paying full-time ministry?” Sharon did not bat and eye, she did tear up and we embraced for the longest time and  we continue to embrace our Lord everyday in the run for the Lord, it is a run not a walk! We are going to run to that finish line, there is much to be done, but will will minister to one person at a time. So we are making that run on Sharon’s salary and the generous support of many at FGGAM. It us just a miracle from our Lord that we keep going! God provides our every need! Amen!  Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your support. Sharon has sacrificed much with me going into full time ministry, we have given up much, but what is much? when Jesus gave all? We have come to see great waste in our society, we don’t miss all that stuff!  Just yesterday we had great support from Charles and Tracy at C and A Transmissions getting the ministry up and running, from Aaron Cobb of Cobb Electric who did work at the house! My brother Daryl says, “You sure have a lot of friends!” Yes we do, and we love you all so much! On this weekend of Mother’s Day I am so very thankful for Sharon, my Mom Ruth, my Grandma’s Lena Caraway and Dena Moede. All three have been reunited in heaven. It was Grandma Caraway who told me back in 1972 that I would be a preacher some day! I cannot find a picture of Grandma Moede, I feel bad about that. I also have been blessed with a wonderful Mother-in-law, Betty in Elk Grove, California with her love and gentle voice.

I have got to get pictures of Grandma Moede and Betty to post! Amen!

This was in this month’s Son Broadcasting’s newsletter:

A Mother’s Love

By Michael O. Adesanya

There are times when only a Mother’s love

Can understand our tears,

Can soothe our disappointments

And calm all our fears.

There are times when only a Mother’s Love

Can share the joy we feel

When something we’ve dreamed about

Quite suddenly is real.

There are times when only a Mother’s faith

Can help on life’s way

And inspire in us the confidence

We need from day to day.

For a Mother’s heart and a Mother’s faith

And a Mother’s steadfast love

Were fashioned by the Angels

And sent from God above…..

Amen!

Now think of all the children and adults who do not have a Mother with them. All the children growing up without a Mother. I also want to express love to all the single Parent Mom’s out there! WOW! You are my hero’s!

No matter Mom’s, where life finds you this day, you are so very precious to our Lord and your children! Amen!

Dewey and Sharon
