Historic Sept. Rain Bursts Falling in New Mexico

rain storm 2The National Weather Service is calling the rain here in New Mexico, “Historic Sept Rain Bursts”. Up to 60 people are being removed from a flooded RV Park in Lakewood by helicopter. Lakewood is about 15 miles south of Artesia, NM. A freight train in the area is also stranded by flooding. Several roads in the state are closed because of flooding.
