Perfect Creation

Genesis 1:31 (NKJV): Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Can you imagine the Glory of God walking the earth in the beginning? Can you imagine the love He wanted to share? Can you picture all that He created, without blemish, or any imperfection?

When we look at the Creation account, found in Genesis 1, we see that God (Hebrew word is Elohim, which we find is a plural/singular word. Great evidence that God The Father, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit were there in the beginning as well. Also, reference John 1; John 8:48-59; Colossians 1:15-17) created all things. If we take a closer look at Creation, we will notice that God created, day, night, land, water, plants, animals and all of creation, before He created man. Have you ever asked why? It appears that He wanted everything in place, before He created man, who as we see in Genesis 1:26, was created in His Image. This should be another example of His Love for us, the first being that He even wanted to create us, that everything for us to live, was setup before He created us.

Now, we need to look at something in today’s verse. Do you notice at the end of the first sentence, it says, “and indeed it was very good.” Looking at the words in Hebrew, ט֖וֹב” 1מְאֹ֑ד” (tub mad2 or ṭō·wḇ mə·’ōḏ1)  that we translate as “very good”, we are able to determine that a better translation is, “it was perfect, without blemish, without harm, no imperfection”, etc. So, in other words, when God created everything, He created it so that it would be perfect, holy, righteous, like Him.

Do you realize that this is a good example of how we need Him in our lives? Do you realize that this is an example of how He provides everything for us? Do you realize that He did this so that we could develop a relationship with Him?

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
