Good Morning beautiful people. It’s a little frosty this morning here in Northern Maine. However, the warmth from the fire of God in our hearts makes the day so warm and inviting.
As I was glancing through my journal and saw some notes from a mission trip to LA from several years ago, I thought about the blanket that God Himself provided for a woman in need. Sometimes the mission is more for us than the people who receive. My heart was so full of joy that I was able to be a part of something so precious. Causing people that are losing hope to find it in God once again is priceless. There is nothing we will ever give to people more valuable than the Word of God and to show them His love and kindness.
Today, let’s sprinkle kindness everywhere we go. Let’s bring hope to someone that may be losing it. Where are they you may ask? Let’s ask God Himself.
Father, thank you for divine appointments today. Show us someone God that needs a little kindness. Show us someone that needs a little hope. Use us today Father to be your hands extended. Thank you for bringing us together.
Thank you God for giving us eyes to see you at work in the world around us. Thank you for ears we pray to hear what you are saying. May we be obedient to the call to be more like you. Let our lives show the love of Christ and kindness everywhere we journey. Amen
