Please pray for a 2-year-old toddler of Albuquerque who is in stable condition while a man faces charges after court records say he pushed the toddler hard enough to cause injury while temporarily filling in for the toddler’s babysitter .
The documents state the toddler was rushed to UNM Hospital, where he had to have surgery after doctors were concerned about brain injury when Ricky Pacheco struck him. Pacheco is facing charges of child abuse with great bodily harm. He was in jail for a short time over the weekend before being released on his own recognizance. His first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
