It is God’s Plan That Our Eyes Be Opened to Everything That He Has For Us

Dear People of God,

I just got a couple of books from FGGAM friend Paul Dokken, who also spoke at the Windom Revival. Paul is such a dear friend! Tremendous man of God! Amen! He sent me a book by Joan Hunter, “Healing The Whole Man Handbook” DYNAMITE!

This introduction in the book by Joan Hunter really speaks to me……

Ephesians 1:17-19New King James Version (NKJV)

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding[a] being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

I keep reading that scripture over and over, the Lord is really speaking to me!

Hunter goes onto to write…….It is God’s plan that our eyes be opened to everything that He has for us in ministry as well as every other area of our life. It is His plan that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened to those we should be ministering to as well. It is essential we understand what God has called us to say and do each and every day.

I am stuck on this page…….reading it over and over and praying and seeking God, as we go forth here at FGGAM. Please pray for Sharon and I.

Please pray for Paul Templeton and his family. Paul’s Mother passed away yesterday afternoon. We pray peace and comfort over the family. We love you Paul!
Dewey life verseI am embarrassed…..blushing to share this post with you from Ryan Freeman who worked for me at KKIM Christian radio in Albuquerque, Ryan sent this in……..he is right it made me cry! I will just say that I am trying to leave the world a better place and it is pay back time in my life for all those who taught me well! I want to share the Godly love and wisdom that so many have poured out to me over my entire life and the list is very long! It is the trickle down effect……God’s way! Amen!

I almost didn’t meet Dewey Moede.

At the time, my dad (Steve Freeman) was a pastor in Albuquerque. I was probably sitting at home in my PJ’s, eating cereal and listening to the radio – freshly graduated and married – and hard on the job hunt.

I remember my dad asking me if I wanted to come with him down to a Christian radio station for a meeting.
“Sure, why not?” I replied, hesitating. I almost didn’t go.

However, thanks to divine intervention (and more than a little curiosity), I got to meet one of the most heart-felt evangelists of our time that day.

Dewey Moede.
The man, the myth, the legend.
(If you’ve met him, then you know exactly what I’m talking about!)

He’s an all-or-nothing sort of guy; ready to roll up his sleeves and help however he can.
– He’s probably getting all teary-eyed reading this… that’s just the way he is (and I don’t think I’d have him be any other way).

Later, he ended up being my boss at KKIM radio. While in reality I only served a brief time there, working with Dewey felt timeless. I don’t know how many occasions he called me into his office with a ‘Hey bud, come here!’ just to talk, listen, and pray. To this day, he’s still one of the best people I’ve ever worked for. Countless people who stepped into his office were served. I don’t even begin to know how many people Jesus has used Dewey to help minister to. People who really needed something which only Dewey could give words to, or do – God sent the right man for the job.

If you’re reading this, God has sent Dewey your way, too. We’re a part of a great Ministry which Jesus first began, and which people like Dewey Moede help carry on into the countless lives and souls of future generations.

This Christmas season, help Dewey Moede and For God’s Glory Alone Ministries financially.
Help them with your time
Help them with your prayers
Help them continue to reach hearts, minds, and souls for Jesus Christ.

Besides, if not for a little divine intervention (and more than a little curiosity) where would your own soul, heart, and mind be today, if not for folks like Dewey Moede or For God’s Glory Alone Ministries?

– Merry Christmas

Pictured to the right is Pastor Dewey at the BARC in Windom, Minnesota is hometown. He is speaking in the Library that he used to clean as a custodian while he lived in Windom, 39 years.

Pray about helping Dewey and FGGAM go onto into the new year.

From Windom Revival Chairman Rodney Byam:

When My sister Laurie was in Mayo at Mankato with cancer which we knew was terminal. I visited her that first week and I told her that Pastor Dewey Moede had called to check on her status. I told Laurie that evidently, Dewey remembers me as a better person than I really am.. Laurie was having trouble talking at this point so she would stop and spell out a word. Laurie said Dewey always thinks that of people.

I thought you know wouldn’t this be a wonderful world if we all thought like Pastor Dewey Moede about others.

Please encourage someone you see in person, It does not cost you anything and might mean a world of difference in theirs. So many people are hurting in their lives due to circumstances that may be out of their control. I pray for so many people every day because I see that their smiles have faded, I fear that many people lose hope in their lives and pray that they find the joy in Jesus
