Balance, peace, and joy are the fruit of a successful life.
Wow! The Ever-Increasing Wisdom of God! I pray this will be a blessing to you!
Some of you may not like all of what I say; and some of you will, but the common fact remains is that God still loves us all. I hope to paint a picture of how to find the balance of peace and joy with the fruit of a successful life.
The question the world is wondering is, “Why is this not working for me?” Or, “Why is this happening to me?” “Why is life so rough on me?” “What am I doing wrong?” “Why is God letting this happen?” I am prepared to share this with you, because I finally understand and have discovered how balance works in the Kingdom of God! To God be the glory!
The World needs answers and God is preparing us in Hope in Today Ministries, Inc., and by training other leaders how to be prepared to make a difference in the world.
Before we dive deep into this, Perhaps we need to begin with the basic questions:
- When did mankind get authority over the world? And what did God give to Adam?
- Genesis 1:26-27, KJV
- What happened when Adam sinned?
- 2 Corinthians 4:4, KJV
- Who sent hope?
- 2nd Peter 3:9
- John 3:16-17
Wow Wee, the ever increasing Wisdom from God. I would love to paint a picture for you of the measure of the Father’s love to us that perhaps you have never been taught!
This will change your life; and if you get this, you will never be the same!
To begin, in this busy world of serving Christ, being a mom, a wife, a homemaker, carrying more than one job title and position in life, perhaps like you; I had been blindly seeking balance in my life for a long time. Step by step, I have come to understand now, but I was constantly seeking a balance in my life that worked well, because most days I felt toppled over, beat up and tossed down. I knew I was too busy in some area of my life, but I was too busy to figure out which area, so I just pressed on.
We have to take time with God to listen to Him.
We have to seek
God’s thoughts and His will.
Painting a picture for you, one day, I pictured my life on the teeter totter of a balance scale. To be honest, many days I felt accomplished; some days not, but what I was really seeking was the balance in life that was even more than I even at the time could comprehend.
Do you ever feel unbalanced? Have you ever experience what I am talking about? Many days, I felt unbalanced in peace, joy and rest in the view of the scale I pursued in my life, which was work hard, do good and remain at peace with joy, but where was the rest with God? And, when I would grow tired and weary, I may not react well in situations and this is the target of this post. We can find balance in the Truth of God!
I knew balance was possible, because I hit that balance mark most times, but consistently that is often, I would notice something else would pop up on my scale that shifted the weight that I carried well –and I felt burdened. So much so, that my husband said that I needed a worry tree, but I smiled and with humor, but yet still on a real experience note, replied that I would kill my worry tree. I could picture that tree heavy ladened, with heavy burdens; and pulled down so far that eventually I could see that all the burdens I tried to carry would kill a worry tree.
Can you relate to this overwhelmed feeling? I used to feel this way, UNTIL, one day the Lord revealed to me that JESUS is my worry tree and I CANNOT kill Jesus. Step by step, the Word of God taught me to picture myself in the yoke WITH Jesus. In that yoke, I still at times try and attempt to push, pull, shove and even drag my feet, but Jesus remains unchanged, because Jesus is God!
Do you need rest?
I believe this picture painted of God’s word will help you too! Imagine yourself in that Yoke with Jesus. You are being prepared in something to make a difference!
Rest for the Weary
…29Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
I am going somewhere with this message that is really, really, good for those of us who love God, because I finally understand the root cause of unbalance. Grab a cup of coffee and your Bible and sit down in the presence of God for a little while. Search out the truth in God’s Word that is waiting for you.
Step one: Do you realize this truth yet?
- In this world, we can’t balance flesh with spirit.
- What does this mean?
- We can only balance flesh with flesh; and spirit with spirit, but one won’t balance with the opposite, because we can’t balance God with Human –Only Christ Jesus can. And, the only way to achieve the balance of spirit with spirit is by the Spirit.
Have you ever been told, you could fall in a mud puddle and come out clean? This would be an example of God’s Grace that is on us. God’s Grace is so blessed that unless we understand in the spirit how this is possible by the Spirit, the world becomes confused?
God’s grace is possible for you to tap into too!
And, the answer to that question of how this is possible is; by God’s Grace alone!
The issue in this world is not with God, it is with the human race –The Spirit of God is not biased, He is holy. And, God is a good, good God. God is Spirit –God is love, but what is this Holy Spirit we hear about; and how do we begin to understand about God’s Truth, Way and Life?
The answer is that we SEEK God 1st –and we seek his truth; we seek God’s way; and we seek life.
The answer is my friend, all this from God is found in Christ Jesus; and it is a gift of God’s love to us.
Yet, it does matter: Do you believe? And, it matters how much confidence you have in what you believe. If you were going to jump rope, but doubted you can jump rope; will you jump successfully? What if you doubt those who turn the rope for you –How successful would that jump team be –unless they believed in each other, and believed also in their abilities?
Trust in God is a good Source.
We begin to learn, gain knowledge and understand things we may even know some about when we pray and read God’s Word. Understanding will come to us in every area of our life that what we search out God’s thoughts on, by the Spirit of God, and because we believe God is good and good to us, we will search for our answers in God’s Truth. We seek and God does the rest. When we learn God’s Way of blessings and life, we will choose to walk in those ways, because of the goodness we find.
It is that simple, but it is not simple for us to understand, until we get our understanding from God!
Until I understand something, it is not simple! Yet, things we know about become that simple when we get understanding; and then, we really understand!
But here is the light of knowledge that the Spirit of the Lord woke me up with this morning:
Have you ever wanted what God had to offer, but didn’t want to do what God required of you? Or, perhaps another way to say what is on my heart to encourage you in today, to reach higher levels in this life than you ever thought possible before: Have you ever wanted God’s best, but were afraid of what God may require of you? Or, perhaps, you feel beat down and have lost hope that God would even want to bless you?
Before we get to the Scripture that has set me free in my knowledge to come to you today, let’s look at the enemy’s tactics: Satan will confuse you about what God knows you need to understand. The Bible teaches and I will testify, the Truth shall set you free:
“and with all thy getting get understanding”…
The Bible says in Proverbs 4:
5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
There is nothing to fear in the Truth, the Truth shall set you free from the ties and lies that bind us into the captivity and chains in our mind of the enemy’s devises. Don’t get mad at Satan for doing his job.
I am writing to encourage you that if you are a Born-Again Believer then you have the authority living in you through Jesus Christ, by God’s Grace to do greater things in this life, no matter how small or great!
And if you have never taken that step with God yet, we can pause for you right now … We have the time,
Because, I am also writing to you to invite you to come to Jesus; not by my doing, but by God’s grace alone. If you are reading this and feel a desire to know God’s love for you, then tell God you believe Jesus died for you! God already knows.
Confession is telling God what He already knows, and God knows our heart will respond to our words that we confess!
Go ahead and tell God you believe in the love He has for you. That pull you feel from God is good and true, trust in Jesus and believe.
Go ahead and tell God that you believe Jesus is Alive.
God already knows; and so do I.
I believe you know down deep in your heart too.
Go ahead and thank God for the hope in Jesus Christ that Jesus died, was buried and rose again. Go ahead and praise God that there is no power of death over you! The RESURRECTION of JESUS CHRIST has accomplished it all!
Romans 10:9-10 King James Version
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
If you just said the prayer of confession that leads to Salvation,
don’t get too comfortable in your seat!
The Spirit of God is alive!!! And, the Holy Spirit of God begins growing goodness in you the minute you set your faith into action to believe!
Be quick and alert to get the Truth from God and believe the Father of your Salvation through Jesus Christ.
Don’t be blind to the fact that the enemy of God is Satan and Satan still roams in this world. Don’t be surprised that Satan hates the God in you. Satan is the same enemy of God –and now also of God in you. Satan is still the same enemy who has lied to you all this time about God’s love for you. Don’t be surprised that Satan will hurl more lies, doubts, traps and snares your way.
But don’t fear, because the truth is, and Satan knows it too: Greater is God who lives in you, than he that is in the world! Tell Satan to get behind you and follow the Holy Spirit where He leads in the path of goodness and righteousness and of love.
Get your knowledge from God’s good Word! Get your understanding through praying and seeking God’s understanding to you. Don’t settle for any opinion less than God’s thoughts. Get your thoughts from God; and make up your own mind in Christ as the Holy Spirit guides you to all truth!
Get your Wisdom and pray for more! Get understanding and be set free!
God will not leave you empty handed,
but it is your job to SEEK.
The Spirit of love of God would not allow me to go on teaching our Born Again blessings, until you had the opportunity to know and understand that you are immensely and incredibly valuable to God! We must be born again to comprehend things of God. That is mystery to the world, but God has So loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son –and Jesus gave His back to those who beat Him!
Before we move on,
If you really want to get serious about the truth,
Do you know what exactly Jesus did for us to believe?
Isaiah 50:6 “I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.”
JESUS GAVE HIS BACK –No one took it, Jesus GAVE Himself for us! JESUS DID NOT HIDE HIS FACE –Jesus took the punishment for us, because God So loved the world!
Jesus 100% man knew it! Felt it! Endured it! And, went through it on the cross for us, because God SO loved the world!
Jesus prayed, In Luke 22:42 and we can read, “Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Yes, Jesus is 100% God, and, Jesus went through our atonement for sin 100% human. He bled, He died, He rose! God sacrificed God the Son, to be powerful enough over the sting of sin in death. Jesus felt it as a man; and He did it for mankind to have life and life to be blessed! No one comes to the Father, except through the Son; and we must live this gift of life God’s way in order to live blessed in the Life and the Peace that Jesus died and rose again to offer us in the choice of life and blessings; when we had no choice before. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God!
Okay, Here we go –Hold on to your faith!
And the truth is, we can’t be 100% blessed, by only being 50% committed to God’s Word in the Spirit.
What does this mean?
This means that we can’t go on sinning and expect to be blessed.
What is a sin?
Is there anything in your life that God may view as more important to you than Him?
Which position does God hold in your life? Do you love God first and do you understand how and why?
HUMM, THIS IS SERIOUS!
Now, I said, some may not like this –or even me for saying this; but some will, but the fact remains that God still loves us all! I realize that it is human nature to resist challenges to what we are accustomed to in the way it has always been, but God says there is MORE! However, getting to more requires more.
On the scales of balance,
we can’t expect to take both our hands and use them wrong;
and we can’t expect to use one right and the other wrong and still accomplish any good thing well.
The world teaches us to take both hands and extend them:
- One hand pointing blame of why this is wrong to me …
- The other hand held out waiting for someone to make things right for me …
However, faith is what it takes to accomplish all good and righteous things, which balance well in a well blessed life.
God’s Word teaches us to take both hands and turn them in toward our heart:
- The Spirit says, take the pointing finger of blame; and bring it to point to ourselves with a change of mindset to, “I take the responsibility for me.”
- The Spirit says take the other hand that is held out wanting more from the world; and turn it in to ourselves with a change of heart and mindset to prayer, asking, “God, what can I do?”
Doing the right thing, by our faith that we are trusting in God is blessed by God. Asking God as our Source to direct us, and by our faith being obedient is blessed by God; and thus placing the authority back over our life in God’s trustworthy hands. Asking God to help us and teach us His way.
Okay, here we go!
Are you ready to hear this?
This is it!
We can be all God is teaching us to be!!!
If we believe and do not doubt that God is able and the Holy Spirit makes us capable!
Step two: Do you believe in this Scripture?
1 John 3:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
I hope you don’t quickly bypass these questions, and miss the blessing contained within this teaching! Because, if you get this, you will never be the same!
- Do you believe this Scripture?
- Did you sin yesterday?
- Then, take another look at this Scripture.
- What does 1 John 3:9 say? Now, think about this:
- The “Adam Seed” in us is the old sinful nature, but the old man is buried when Christ is born in us.
- Jesus is the New Seed who lives in us; the Resurrection!
- Which seed do we grow in???
2 Corinthians 5:17 King James Version
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
- Do you believe this Scripture?
- Do you partially believe what you are reading? Or, 100% believe?
- Are you seeing anything different than the way you have always thought?
- God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
- Do really believe this Scripture 100%? or maybe not at all?
- Will you seek God’s thoughts as far are you are concerned to know and understand what God wants you to know as far as it depends on you?
- Can you defend the hope that is in you?
- The Resurrection is the defense for the hope who lives in us.
How much do you believe this Scripture?
Do you believe 100%, 50% or 10%?
This is serious, If you get this, you will never be the same!
Spend some time with God and pray.
Now, you may understand this faster than I did,
but I encourage you by my faith, Don’t give up if you don’t get the fullness of understanding in this right away.
It may take time, but Seek God’s Thoughts; and in God’s time, if you don’t give up seeking God’s thoughts, He will reveal to you personally what God desires to say.
Now, in closing,
What is a sin?
And, can a born again believer go on sinning?
Romans 6:15 says, “God forbid” and Jesus teaches us we can live holy, written in 1 Peter 1:16. Does this mean that we never make a mistake? Not at all, but what is the difference between a mistake and a sin?
I truly believe that God is preparing us to be sent to make a difference. As for me, I know I can always do better by God’s All-Knowing Wisdom and Power! I just felt compelled to take time this morning to encourage you in your faith to know how valuable you are to God.
“What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid (Romans 6:15 KJV).”
1 Peter 1:16King James Version (KJV)
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
I believe this is the law of love according to the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus that the Bible talks about in Romans; and that love and life balance well, according to Spirit of Holy and Truth. There is no blend and no grey matter in the balance scales of life.
In other words,
our words matter;
and our justifications to do
as we please sometimes
won’t balance
on the scale with the blessings of God..
In the Balancing Scales of opportunities in both agreement and opposition are the realities we all face in some form or another. And, how we treat each other matters to the Balance in this life as Spirit teaches us about “Life and Death and Blessings and Curses”; and of Light and Darkness, right and wrong, good and evil there is only God who is Truth; and their is faith.
We have nothing to lose by turning on to the light of the knowledge of the glory of God’s Grace in the face of Jesus Christ, who is the Truth, the Way and the Life; and the one true Light of the world, who has died for whosoever will believe, was buried for 3 days; and has been resurrected … and He did all this for me and also for you!
Salvation has been God’s plan from the beginning of time! Life on this earth is not just a cruel trick God is playing on us when we face difficult things. Sin is the ugliness. God is the light to escape sin.
Good things that happen are not just a series of events. And, even bad things that happen, God can; and will; and in fact does work all things together for the good ….according to His good purpose … that we be transformed into the image of God’s Son.
Will you trust God? I do. I trust God, because God’s presence was with me when I was overwhelmed. God is trustworthy and love and His Holy Spirit convinced me beyond a thought process that I trust God.
Life on this earth is a process we all must go through, because God is God and God is taking us to a place of so much more than we can comprehend. I wish I could just pour my faith into the world’s heads, but that is the work of the Holy Spirit, and this encouragement to you to seek God is mine portion by my faith, because we care for you.
God is the judge. The Holy Spirit convicts. Our job is to love and pray.
I have discovered that seeking God’s thoughts and trusting in God’s Word with my full obedience is exactly what it takes for me to experience balance in my life with peace and joy with success.
God loves you; and His desire is for you is to have life and choose blessings –God sent us a Savior and a helper; we are not left alone in this world; and God is able!
Will you make a commitment to God to read His Word to learn what God wants to say to you?

Because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge,
I will also reject you from being My priest.
Since you have forgotten the law of your God,
I will also forget your children.
I appreciate your patience as you read this. I am sure you were tempted to stop reading. It was work for you to read and it was work for me to write. But it is the anointing in God’s work that kept us both. You may have grown tired as as you studied and stuck with this; as I also grew tired. There was a temptation to stop and a temptation not to post. But I pressed on, because I simply trust God and believe in His love for you.
