Ephesians 5:1 Be imitators of God therefore as dearly loved children and live a life of love just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Walking in love is having a relationship with God and mankind. When we allow God to fill us with love that is when we can reach out to others in love .
1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us. 21 Whoever loves God must also love his brother.
Think about the goodness of God , his mercy, his kindness and grace, he gave his only Son as a sacrifice for our sins.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in him .
Paul commands us to imitate him as he imitates Christ
1Corinthians 11:1 Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ.
Jesus was our example in walking in love
Philippians 2:1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit if any tenderness and compassion 2 then make my joy complete by being like minded having the same love being one spirit and purpose, 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others . 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ.
John 13:34 A new command I give you , Love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.
Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. 13 Share with God’s people who are in need practice hospitality .
Love is not a feeling it is a choice , its not what you feel but what you do. Its being devoted to one another. When you reach out to others and knowing that you have made a difference in there lives there is joy that you experience that cannot be explain. When you walk in the love of God you are being obedient to his Word and therefore he is pleased with you.
John 15:11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this Love each other as I have loved you .

Thank you Father that you gave your only Son that die on the cross for our sins and who set an example to us to love one another. Help us always to remember that we are able to love only because you first loved us.
John 15:12 My command is this Love each other as I have loved you 13 Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.
