This story breaks my heart, the Albuquerque Journal is reporting this morning that an Albuquerque School has been forced to remove a Christmas tree called, “The Bear Tree,” a La Cueva High School tradition for 27 years to collect toys for children in need. Rabbi Arthur Flicker of Congregation B’nai Israel demanded the tree be taken down because “It insults non-Christian students.” It now has turned into a nasty situation for the Albuquerque School system and all those involved: More Here
