A Special Thanksgiving Message from Former U.S. Marshall and now head of Noon Day Ministries in Albuquerque, Danny Whatley:

I know we are in the middle of Thanksgiving, but I want to ask you to do me a favor. It has been an extremely tough year for first responders, especially law enforcement, those of us in Albuquerque know all to well how quickly tragedy can strike in our law enforcement community. I would ask that as you decorate for Christmas you place a blue strand of lights, or even a single blue bulb in a prominent place in your home or outside your home. Let it remind us of the sacrifice and service our law enforcement officers make every day for you and for me. When you look at that bulb or those bulbs pause and pray for the safety of the women and men who are serving your community and mine. Happy Thanksgiving and may God richly bless you and yours.

Pictured is Albuquerque Police Officer Daniel Webster who was killed in the line of duty. We especially remember his family at this time and that of all Officers killed in the line of duty.
