We love you all……Sharon and I want to thank you for all of your love and support!

God has us very busy helping one person at a time. We praise God for the work that he gives us to do!

Please drink this CUP to the bottom……………..there is a FUNNY BONE at the bottom of this CUP from a new friend! Amen!

Life with Jesus…through everything we go through in life……….

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, all the way……..John 14:6 teaches us……Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Very sad to hear the news that a thug or thugs are stealing dogs out of the back yards of Albuquerque residents ugh! What is next in our city? Thanks to Mayor Berry, he has offered a five thousand dollar reward on behalf of the city to catch this thug or thugs! I pray for an arrest or arrests.

It’s also very very sad that pro life legislation is stalled in the New Mexico Senate not a good commentary on our state.

We started a new feature at FGGAM yesterday…..”Photo of the Day”

FGGAM photo of the day, our granddaughter Lilith Evelyn. I do not know if Grandma Sharon will be coming back to Albuquerque!!!! LOL!! LOL!! Psalm 145:7 They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.Baby Lilith march

Yesterday I was sadden to take a phone call from my very Dear Friend Sonja Haldeman………

Sonja familyThis morning I received the sad news from Dear friend Sonja HaldemanSonja and Mom that her Mom, Nancy Sweigard of Windom, Minnesota passed onto heaven in her sleep, very peacefully. We thank the Lord for the life here on earth of Nancy, she was such an awesome wife to Ralph and mother to her children, Sonja, Linda and Wes. She is now with our Father in heaven, Amen! The Lord gave me these two scriptures when I asked Him about Nancy, being Mother to Sonja, Linda and Wes……Deuteronomy 6: 5-9…. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Being wife to Ralph…Proverbs 31:10 An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands. She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar. …

Nancy was 83 years of age and was married to Ralph on May 11th 1955…almost 60 years!

Sonja was my classmate in Windom, Minnesota and her family just lived a stones throw from our house.

A wonderful Godly family and our prayers, love and sympathy go out to the family.

We cover Ralph, Sonja, Linda and Wes and whole extended  family and friends in our prayers, Amen!

God Bless the memory of Nancy Sweigard! Amen!

Pictured above Sonja and her brother Wes with Mom and Dad and then Sonja with her Mom.

I will close with this…….it was sad to take the phone call from Sonja…..our parents passing, my Mom and Dad have been in heaven for many years…it is also hard to see those roots in Windom, Minnesota passing….but it is by the heritage and foundation built by the likes of Ralph and Nancy Sweigard and Wally and Ruth Moede, and many, many others that those Godly roots will never die.

Here at FGGAM we are blessed with our Godly Friendship with Shona Neff. I will never forget the day she came looking for me years ago at KKIM radio! I was going out the front door and she came up to me and asked if I was Dewey Moede! We started a great relationship that has grown so much in the Lord. Now Shona has launched a new project at FGGAM! PRAY-NM:

In the last Pray NM post we discussed the need for willing workers. That theme continues today as we peek at the building of the tabernacle. Although this mobile dwelling of God is theologically deep, being a scholar isn’t required to draw inspiration for prayer.antique-bible-

Throughout Exodus 35 and 36 phrases using the word “willing” jumps off the pages of the Bible:

  • who is willing – 35:5
  • who was willing – 35:20
  • women who were willing – 35:22
  • All the Israelite men and women who were willing – 35:29
  • who was willing – 36:2

God put out a call, and His people answered because they were willing. They answered that call so enthusiastically, in fact, that they “were restrained from bringing more because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work,” (Ex 36:6).

Can you imagine more than enough prayer from God’s people? Do you find that exciting? Just knowing what God can do with a willing heart inspires me to move beyond my usual routine to build something great — no matter what that “something” is!

In God’s infinite goodness, we don’t have to rely solely on our willing hearts to accomplish great things: God partners with us. He equips us! Let your eyes linger on Moses’ words recorded in Exodus 35:30-31:

“See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge, and wisdom, and with skills of all kinds –“.

Yes, God DID put out the command for His people to build the tabernacle, but He also asked for willing hearts (Ex 35:5). And, for those who answered the call, He gave them the necessary skills, via the Holy Spirit, to complete the project.

Do you see the similarities between the workers of the tabernacle and the prayer need for New Mexico? There is a great and mighty work to be done. God needs workers. He needs influence in every corner of our state to usher in His presence. He wants workers shining the Light of Jesus to lost souls. He desires that the Land of Enchantment move in a healthier and more godly direction.

Are you willing? Yes? God will partner with you.

Are you skilled? Yes? We welcome prayer warriors!! No? We welcome you, too! All you need to do is look to God and let Him equip you for the call.

We may not be constructing a physical tabernacle, but we are building God’s kingdom on earth. As part of that effort, let us be inspired by the story behind God’s first dwelling place among His people.

Prayer needs:

  • Pray for willing workers to help build up our state.
  • Pray that Jesus’ light shines from border to border.
  • Pray that God will equip you to pray effectively for our state’s many needs.

If we all work together we can complete the good work set before us.

“So all the work on the tabernacle, the tent of meeting was complete. The Israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses,” (Ex 39:32).

Please join us everyday here at the CUP and at FGGAM.ORG………I post several times a day, Lord Willing at our website. Please have a cup or two with me daily! PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD! The ministry continues to grow and grow……in the Lord…….we follow Him.

My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus. Acts 20:24 is my life verse! Amen!

We have a new friend here at the CUP! Terry Shields, wife of Pastor Joe,  sent this to us……………

When GOD solves our problems, we have faith in HIS abilities…
When GOD doesn’t solve our problems HE has faith in our abilities…

God’s accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs. . . . .
-those of the canary in 14 days;
-those of the barnyard hen in 21 days;
-eggs of ducks and geese in 28 days;
-those of the mallard in 35 days;
-The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days.
(Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!)

God’s wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant.
The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction.
No other quadruped is so made.
God planned that this animal would have a huge body, too large to live on two legs.
For this reason He gave it four fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily.

The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first.

A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first.

How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation!

-Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind.
-Each orange has an even number of segments.
-Each ear of corn has an even number of rows.
-Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains.
-Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas, and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and the next row an odd number.

-The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather.
-All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks.

God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during the day. Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that were open and those that were closed!

The lives of each of us may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way for His glory, if we will only entrust Him with our life. If we try to regulate our own life, it will only be a mess and a failure.

Only God, who made our brain and heart, can successfully guide them to a profitable end.

I Pray God Bless You In Ways You Never Even Dreamed. I didn’t think twice about forwarding this one.

When you carry “the Bible” Satan has a headache; when you open it, he collapses; when he sees you reading it, he loses his strength, and when you stand on the Word of God, Satan can’t hurt you! And did you also know… that when you are about to forward this email to others, the devil will probably try to discourage you, but do it anyway.

To end this CUP….Terry sent us this humor to life your day!!!!!!!!!!!! I about died laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Just love good clean humor!!! Just like the old days………

A priest was invited to attend a house party.
Naturally, he was properly
dressed and
wearing his priest’s collar.

A little boy kept staring at him the entire evening. Finally, the priest
asked the little boy what he was staring at. The little boy pointed to the
priest’s neck.

When the priest finally realized what the boy was pointing at, he asked
him, “Do you know why I am wearing that?”

The boy nodded his head yes, and replied, “It kills fleas and ticks for up
to three months.”  LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL!

May the Lord Bless you and yours forever and ever! Dewey, Sharon, Family and FGGAM TEAM!
