Continuing on from the post…. Trust is all we need, By Karen Rowe February 15, 2015

Topic of FAITH!!!

Okay, so how do we do have believing faith?  Notice the words changed to faith –from believing trust in “Trust is all we need” to believing faith?

Faith is a power tool –but faith evolves from Trust (Believe) in God and also Trust (Believe) in Jesus!  And, trust evolves from faith …

Faith is a friend of Trust.

“In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16).”

By faith, I pray.  By Faith, I read God’s Word. By faith, I praise.  By faith, I trust.  By faith, I do all things with my thoughts aligned with God’s will.

By faith I walk forward, trusting God my Father (Jesus enables this family relationship & we are children of a promise), and Jesus the Christ, who is my friend.

But how do you believe for faith?  You seek the Truth from the true and living God!

By Faith I believe, by faith I read God’s Word, by faith I pray –Faith is a gift from God.

We can use our faith to doubt God / disbelieve; and follow our own mind made up -with a “don’t confuse me with the facts” mindset; or we can use our faith to seek the Truth to find the Truth and trust / believe.  Believing faith is a gift!  How we use our faith is important.  Where we spend our time seeking the Truth is important.  Ask, Seek and Knock -God will reveal HIS Truth to us -if only we will believe and use our faith to seek God’s Truth, God’s Way and God’s Life. God will reveal HIS truth to all who will seek to understand the Truth from God and believe God’s Own Testimony about His God’s Son.

By faith I believe, but it is by the power of God who is living in me that I know; and so I believe.

IF you don’t know this faith to believe –pray and ask God to bring you understanding. Pray in the Name of Jesus, and to the God of the Living; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Link to  -“We are the Children of the FREE Woman”) God will answer a pure heart seeking to know God’s love that is for all who will believe…

IMPORTANT NOTE:

No Condemnation in Christ
“Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, … (Romans 8:1-3).”

For God So Loved the World

16 “For God so loved the world,[a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him (John 3:16-17).

Each “By faith” enables the next; and each By Faith builds me up in my most holy faith; and then also, By Faith, I pray in the Holy Spirit.

“But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit … (Jude 1:20).”

When we walk in Christ –remembering the power of God, who is WITH us, our enemy is paralyzed when we pass by because of the power of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God and the Blood of Jesus the Christ.  When we are saturated in Christ Jesus –in the WORD of Believing Faith, in the power in the Blood of the Lamb, who is God’s Son; and saturated in the Holy Spirit and in the Written Word, God’s “unholy spiritual enemy” which is the same as our enemy is paralyzed when we pass by.

This is the power of In God We Trust!

Biblical Example: Scripture Note Links Here.

The Three Hebrew Boys were unharmed in the fiery furnace.

Daniel was unharmed in the Lion’s Den.

Yet, bad things still happen to good people –We could also add the testimony of the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  And, so yes, just as it is written “death come with sin when sin first entered the world”; and, must we all spiritually die to “self” daily and physically die to live eternally.  YET, there is no death in LIFE, because of what death is and what LIFE is.

Death is total separation from God.

LIFE is fully complete With God.

There is a spiritual death for those who deny the Cross and the Christ; and this is the death the enemy is really after.  And, if Satan can’t get your soul, he’ll try to steal, kill and destroy our JOY!  You Joy is your strength in Christ.  Do you know how to keep your JOY full?

I don’t claim to have it all figured out … But, MY message is that GOD DOES … and my encouragement is to Trust God, seek the Truth and  FOLLOW JESUS.  Jesus is the Truth the Way and the Life.    God does have a plan for us –not to harm us, but to prosper us and give us hope and a future.  And, God does work all things together for the good to them that love “trust” HIM, according to the purpose in which we are called.  Many times people stop there (at one Scripture) and overlook the following Scripture in Romans 8:29, in which the Bible also holds the answer to our purpose:  To be transformed into the image of Christ.   Click links for Scripture to access Bible Gateway Scripture Quotes.

We can pass through all things better with Christ in us –as we are submitted wholly and surrendered fully to trusting God.  Our new “Spiritual” nature mind can overcome fear; or we can allow our physical / human / old emotional mind to control us.

We can be the one who is paralyzed in fear? Or, we can pass by fear; and our spiritual enemy is the one paralyzed instead.  I have experience both!!!  I have experienced what it means to become paralyzed by fear; and I have experienced what it IS to pass by fear with Peace and Joy to overcome all things that come against me.

Believing Faith makes a powerful difference in how we go through difficult things –and, it believing faith makes a difference in our prayers.  Believing faith trusts the Holy Spirit to guide our prayers –according to our purpose in which we are called here on this earth; and believing faith makes a powerful spiritual difference when we come out.

If I could only know one thing, I would choose to know that I can trust God.

Creation sings this kind of trust that I speak of; and Creation never seems to complain.  Creation is a reflection of all things made of and by our God –and, God has made you and me.  What God has made and allows, is not without a purpose.

Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God and trust also in Jesus.  Do not LET fear control you; or have you.

Can you imagine how different the story would have been if the three Hebrew boys were “Self-empowered” in their fight to avoid what they had to face because of their dedication and trust in God?  They were spiritually empowered to go into that furnace, because of their relationship with God and according to the purpose in which they were called.  It was their believing faith; and ultimate trust in God that God used to change minds.   It was a miracle that happened in that fiery furnace –not a fear!  They were “Spirit-empowered” not “self-empowered” and Jesus went in with them –and they didn’t even smell like smoke when they come out!

This is the faith that I speak of!  Does this mean that we are never scared?  NO.  I get scared, but we need to remember how vital it is to trust in God and build our-self up in our most holy faith and learn how to pray in the power of the Holy Spirit.

My son asked me, “mommy, why does God even allow the devil to exist?”  That is a good question that I have wondered myself at times.  This day, God has brought me to a new level of understanding.

God uses the devil to pressure us to success –as long as God calls this day Today.  We are born with a want to sinful nature, but because we are made in God’s image, we have that intuit common sense / inner voice that would usually stop us.  Yet, a little pressure from Satan and we will see what God already knows that we are capable of.  We are in need of perfection.  And, God has sent us Jesus, The Holy Spirit and the Word of God –because God knew it was impossible to overcome death alone; and it was impossible to overcome our sinful nature alone.  God sent us Jesus and Jesus died for our sin and the Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead to take His rightful place at the Right Hand of the Father God in Heaven.  Jesus LIVES for us.

Jesus is the perfect one.  We are made perfect in God’s eyes through Jesus –Praise God!  We are credited Righteousness because of Jesus.  But we are being made holy till the day that God calls us home!

What does that mean?  God is holy and His perfection is the life that we are being prepared to live for!

God never intended on this earth forever.  Think about it!

In the beginning, God made the heaven(S) and the earth!  And, in the beginning God already had His Plan … The Word was with God!  This is just the “metamorphic stage” –or, what I used to call those classes in college that I didn’t see the need of; those classes I would never use in life that I considered a “waste of good time to go through”, BUT, still these classes were a requirement of my degree!  “Weeder Classes!”  Only the dedicated will endure the “weeder classes” –the ones who really want the degree enough to do the best we can to get through the requirements set to achieve all that we need to get the degree we are earning –and then we graduate!

Just like in college, there is more than just the education –you have to want something bad enough to demonstrate that you are worthy of that degree.  And, then you begin to learn and develop.

Isn’t it like that with life and death?  We are born to live, to die, to live –but not without purpose!

What we choose to do with “the classes in this life” we are dealt with is up to how much we will trust God.  Are we willing to demonstrate to God how much we want this life with Him; and that we are worthy of His Son Jesus?

Are we willing to just trust God? …………..  OR, can we become too proud at times?

I have!  Pride is dangerous.  The Holy Spirit of God has tapped me on my shoulder and whispered to my ear, “What are you going to get if you give up?  Are you going to give up on God?”  I immediately changed my mind and attitude. I had really wanted to throw my hands up in the air and give up –I was tired of behaving right all the time.  I wanted to complain and rant and even cuss; but God wouldn’t allow me to.  So I praise Him for this.

Haven’t we all got to that place of just wanting to give up believing?

Believing is trust; and trust is faith; and faith is hard!  Faith involves endurance and perseverance to finish the race with God.

If Jesus had to go through the wilderness, proving He was trust-worthy and loyal of His call to God –Then, why should we escape our “weeder” classes –tests and trials to strengthen us spiritually?

It is an honor and our duty to demonstrate to God how much we love Him.

Are you willing to follow Jesus?

I hope to read the book “Not a Fan” Because, I am a follower of Christ – and not just a fan of the good times.  I like to test my heart, because of the benefits that come to me spiritually –and frankly because I need God and I know God loves us all; and ask God to keep my heart pure in Jesus by showing me what HE sees when God looks in me.

Do you love God and do know that God loves you?

Will you increase your knowledge day by day of how much God has loved you in Jesus –from before you were even born?  Will your knowledge be enough to seek a greater understanding to build your trust in God?  Can you believe that God will work HIS strength into you –even if you had or have something in your life that even God didn’t like, but that you to have to go through?

God says, you don’t have to go through anything alone!  God is faithful and true and just. And, God knows all things.

You see, God had a plan from the very beginning!  “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).”

What is your role in this life and on this earth?

I asked myself just now and my answer is simply this:  To Believe, to be loved and to love.  To Pray and most of all to trust God.  To follow Jesus according to my knowledge and faith bundled up in the same package bound by the power of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit –which is not my burden, but my duty and my strength and this life IS only found in Christ.

Man was Created; Woman was made; and the breath of God was breathed into Adam’s nostrils –and also ours, and we are made to be a living soul. –Now what is our role?

Jesus is in fact our Master and God is our Creator –now what is above God?

Can we sometimes attempt to place our thoughts or emotions above God?

God knows our thoughts, but Faith pleases God.  Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Faith is purified thoughts and sacrificed emotions in action, by grace, and in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Isn’t this part of rolling in our role with Christ –for God’s Glory Alone?

I believe Paul’s Prayer is also for us:
…and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Meet Karen: Hi, I am blessed, by God's good grace and because I know Jesus, I am blessed. I choose to be blessed, because I have a choice set before me and I refuse to look down. I trust God and I know and believe in the love God has for us. I have overcome difficulties; and I am blessed by the grace of God alone. If I have written about it, then I have felt the pain of it in some way, and to some degree. Did you know that Jesus has felt your pain? This is why I write. By God's grace I can identify; and tell you honestly, yes there is hope in anything and everything that you are facing today! Jesus is our Hope! He is the Truth, the Way and the Life. I am married a wonderful man, Robert Rowe; I love my husband and he loves me; and we have been married for 28 years. Together, we have been blessed with a wonderful daughter, named Amanda who is college now; and a wonderful son, named Daniel who is growing up well and soon to graduate elementary school. We work together and by God's grace we run our own business called PSI. We have a pastor over our ministry and over our business and also we depend on him for advise in our family. We have 2 dogs, 4 horses, 2 cats and love to spend time outdoors by the water and by campfires ... that is it seems when we can find time away from life's busy schedule. I love to write because it helps me learn more about God. And, I am driven by a passion from a love that God has put in my heart to share from my experiences and struggles, as I gain understanding in God’s Word to know how effective and powerful God is over our every situation! I share with you so you can know that you are not alone in your struggles. The same God who helps me and my family, is your help and shield as well! Life is not always easy, but it is possible –I like to share the difference that following Jesus makes in my life. And, I love to share God's patience and mercy and love that is with me! I am not perfect, but am experiencing God sanctify me through and through with every mistake I make; and yes, overcome in Christ! Life is not just about the successes; life on this earth is also about the troubles we overcome to discover what God has hidden in our faith to find! Troubles are more a challenge to grow in our faith ... It is not easy, but in the end the grace of God we discover is worth experiencing God in the midst. By Grace, I have discovered Jesus is Peace and He is my Joy and Wisdom from Heaven. God is our Provider and Healer and Creator, who is our help and shield over all things. By grace, I have experienced a nearness to God through my faith in His Son! We are well forgiven by God; and well blessed when we know and believe the love that God has for us. To say, "all is well with my soul" is a powerful knowledge to understand and experience. I sense God's desire for you to know His love for you and how deep His love for you is that He has SO loved you; God gave you His Son. God loves you right now just as you are! There is so much to learn! I believe that as we learn from God, we are God’s gift to each other. It is all God’s story –and for His glory; and God has SO loved us. I love to paint the vision that God has given me about a Father’s love –that God wants you to dream again and visualize His love for you! In God’s eyes, there’s more to life than we see; and in a world that sometimes misrepresents and misunderstands God and love; God wants you to have the courage to dream His dream and see His vision of a Father’s love for you! Many years ago, I prayed to God, “How can I tell a million people what I know about Your Son?” God showed me I had a gift of a ministry about God's Love; and He called it Hope in Today! I write to please God and I write to encourage you; and I write to spend quiet time with God. All because of this love that God has first shown me! I need Jesus –and my life is about my relationship with God. And, every blessing begins with Him! Love in Christ, Karen Rowe, Director Hope in Today Ministries, Inc.
