Steve Stewart is the founder and president of Impact Nations. As a young married man, Steve encountered Christ in 1976; his life immediately and radically changed. Five years later, he pastored his first church while also working for a school board. Following this, Steve established three Christian schools in western Canada. In 1987, he, his wife Christina and their four sons moved to Ontario to plant churches. Over the next fifteen years they planted—either directly, or by training and sending out teams–– seven churches in Ontario, BC and Russia. They also began Healing Rooms in Canada; eventually Healing Rooms were established in over 30 communities.

In 2003, while returning from a ministry trip in Korea, Steve had an encounter that changed his life’s direction. While flying, he sensed the Lord come near to him and ask, “What do you want to do with the rest of your life? I will let you do anything.” Steve’s response was, “If I can do anything, then with the rest of my life I want to rescue lives: spiritually, supernaturally, economically, medically, educationally.” From that encounter was birthed Impact Nations. To his amazement, from that time on, Steve began to receive invitations to come to various places in the developing world. Bringing supernatural and practical manifestations of God’s Kingdom to the poor, the lost and the oppressed is the passion of Steve’s life.

In the years since then, Steve and Impact Nations have travelled to multiple nations in Africa, Asia, Central America and South America. Churches have been planted, hundreds of thousands of lives have been impacted: in many nations the sick have received medical care, the hungry have been fed, and communities have received clean water. Farms, small businesses, schools and a clinic have been established. Steve often thinks back to his encounter on the airplane. No one is more surprised than him at what the Lord has done.

A gifted teacher and preacher, Steve carries a powerful message of hope and vision for what God is doing right now in both the developed and developing world. He operates in a strong healing anointing and is passionate about the Kingdom of God and Social Justice. He teaches scriptural principles, always with a strong emphasis on practical application.
When his schedule allows, he loves to share at churches and conferences. If you are interested in hosting Steve at your church or event, please contact us at info@impactnations.com or call the office at 1-877-736-0803

Steve is available for an Impact Weekend at your church or group. He will teach, then provide opportunities for all participants to immediately engage in healing ministry.  He will take people out into the community to pray for the sick, share the Gospel and minister to the poor.

Impact Weekends

What is an Impact Weekend?
Steve teaches scriptural principles, always with an emphasis on practical application. His goal is that people go home not only with more understanding, but more faith and tangible experience than when they arrived. He does this through demonstration and activation/participation. During an Impact Weekend, Steve teaches, then provides opportunities for all participants to immediately engage in healing ministry – he takes people out into the community to pray for the sick, share the Gospel and minister to the poor.

Topics:

  • Understanding the Kingdom of God: How do we participate in what God is doing? How do we activate the Kingdom? Discover what the Kingdom looks like and the way of the King.
  • Healing: Learn a simple, but powerful model to see healing released in the community and the church – keys to increasing healing, how to see healing happen through everyone and transition into a bigger paradigm of healing.
  • A New Understanding of the Gospel: How big is the Gospel? What does it entail? Understand the Powers That Be: an integrated approach to spiritual warfare. Gain a greater understanding of the scope of salvation and God’s passion for justice and hatred of injustice.
  • Justice: What keeps the church from actively pursuing justice? What role do believers play in rescuing the poor, weak, and overlooked? Discover justice as central to the heart of God and its saving, healing, restorative power.

Expectations: Steve asks that his traveling expenses be covered. He is happy to be billeted in a home or stay in a hotel. Honorariums for his teaching are voluntary. He does ask for the opportunity to give a short presentation (about 15 minutes) about what he does with Impact Nations and to take an offering for the poor (through Impact Nations).

Endorsement: “Steve Stewart is one of the persons that heaven would call ‘the friend of God.’ You too will be able to see the heart of a man who loves God, and is loved by God, expressed in powerful concepts, spoken with passion and wisdom. Impact Weekends reveal Steve’s solid commitment to the Bible and firm belief that Christians, the Church and Christianity should emphasize what the Bible emphasizes: the Kingdom, healing, and justice.”(Randy Clark, Founder, Global Awakening)
