Iranian general claims his missiles can hit all of Israel
Maj.- Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, head if Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, gave a fiery speech to residents of Isfahan province on Tuesday, declaring that “Now, Islamic Iran doesn’t allow the Zionist regime’s expansion in the region and it is considered as the opposite point of the Zionist regime.” He continued by explaining that Iran has become the world’s spiritual superpower by resisting the “plots” of its enemies. “Exporting the Islamic Revolution to the world, the country’s full and sustainable security and its pride and honor are the achievements gained as a result of the blood of our martyrs,” he said. He concluded by declaring that all of Israel is within range of Iranian missiles.

Israel considering offer from Germany for missile boats
Israel’s Defense Ministry is examining an offer from Germany of three patrol boats to protect the Jewish State’s growing constellation of offshore energy platforms and related infrastructure. The German offer is reported to include a partial subsidization of the purchase price by the German government, similar to the subsidy provided for Israel’s German-built fleet of Dolphin-class submarines.

Factions defuse coalition crisis
An emerging crisis in the governing coalition of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was defused on Wednesday when the parties belonging to the coalition agreed to form a committee to address their differences. “The State of Israel needs a stable, strong and responsible government,” Netanyahu said at Wednesday’s cabinet meeting. “I call on all the members of the coalition to work together, to continue to work together, for the benefit of the State of Israel and its citizens.” His words were echoed by the leaders of other coalition factions.

Two soldiers wounded in attack on Egyptian border
An IDF vehicle conducting a routine patrol along the Egyptian border was hit by small arms fire Wednesday afternoon, wounding two soldiers. An initial investigation of the incident determined that drug smugglers carried out the attack as part of an effort to move narcotics across the border. However, a source in Egyptian security later told the Arab-language news outlet Masrawy that an Al-Qaida linked group, Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, was behind the attack. There was no independent confirmation of this report.

Palestinian Authority gives Kerry two months to present his plan
The London-based pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat reported on Thursday that the Palestinian Authority has agreed to a request by the US to delay by two months their plan to seek a UN Security Council resolution demanding Israel withdraw from the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem within three years. The report added that during this two month window, US Secretary of State John Kerry would present his own plan, following comments he made to the press on Wednesday that “The current situation, the status quo, is unsustainable.”Israel and Iran
