Woofs and waggles on a frigid morn! We were greeted with a bit o’ snow in our hilltop communities this morning. I made sure that Mom dressed me up for my morning trip outside even though we got just a dusting in White Rock . . . so far. There should be more on the way:

Yep, I’m glad I got dressed appropriately. Make sure you dress your two- and four- legged kiddoes appropriately as they go to school today. Also, since not all four-legged babies need warm, fuzzy scarfs, DO make sure they are protected, especially if they are outside. I just found out yesterday that many shelters offer straw for my doggie bros and sisses who have to stay outside. Leave a comment if you’d like more info.

My brother, Newman, is a Welsh Terrier which means his relatives came from Wales . . . over by this place by England which across a BIG water bowl (my mom told me that). He LOVES cold weather and didn’t need a scarf when he went outside in the 30 degree temps.

Now, here’s a photo from Los Alamos. They got more snow than we did at our house. Here is a photo of the parking lot of our church. (NOTE: Keep us in your prayers as the replacement building, after it burned up last year, is almost DONE!!! Pastor Shawn Amburgey and his sheep…not real sheep, but those who follow him) have been working like “dogs” to get it done. I guess it’s called a church house. I hope they put plenty of straw in to keep all the people sheep warm since it’s winter!

This photo is Pastor Shawn’s backyard. Thanks to his wonderful and really nice wife, Lanessa for sharing photos with us. (Next time I would love to see pictures our your doggies, Miss Lanessa!!)

Woof and out, Kramer the Chilly Dog reporting from the white world of Los Alamos and White Rock, New Mexico. Stay safe and warm…and keep the kiddos, pets….and, yes, even goats, protected during these winter weather days!
