I found out over the July 4th weekend that a Dear friend of mine passed away of liver cancer. David Halvorson my first Program Director in radio passed onto heaven July 1. David had just been elected to the Montana State Legislature. Please read this tribute, he came to serve, not to be served. In talking with my friends Ryan and Stephanie Freeman, we talked about standing alone.......
There are many small ministries in the world who are standing in the gap for God, like
FGGAM, but we are really not alone! We have been surrounded by so many Godly friends
to fuel the engines of this ministry. You know that Sharon and I go to many small Churches.
We just love it! Ryan, who worked with me at KKIM radio for a couple of years is Pastor of
a small church in Payson, Illinois, near his home of Hannibal, Missouri. His church has
about 10 members, but it is having a HUGE impact on individuals, drug addicts, people
on the streets, people discarded by society. The average size of the Church in America is around
50 members, it may be closer to 40 now. 80 to 85% of America does not go to church on Sundays.
Ryan and I talked at lunch on Saturday as he and his lovely wife Stephanie were here for
Ryan's sister Cassie's wedding, which I had the blessings of officiating. We talked about
being a church without walls! FGGAM Board member Kay Hendrickson said months ago God
showed her that FGGAM was to be a church without walls, it is so, we are reaching people
all over the word with our web site ministry, TV, and radio. We have the data that shows
our number one country is America, then Great Britain and India. We also counsel, preach
and teach, as do Ryan and Stephanie as they travel around their community of Hannibal and
Payson. It is great being around young people and really listening to them and their take on
the world and the church. Ryan has posted a blog at https://fggam.org/the-return-of-ryan-freeman-his-blog/ Please go there and soak it in.
The older I get, the more I am learning from my kid's and younger people like Ryan and Stephanie.
They all have helped me become a better man of God.
The church is not happening inside the walls, it happens outside the walls.
Here is a picture of myself with Ryan and Stephanie!
Photo: What a blessing to have lunch with two of my favorite people in the world Ryan and Stephanie Freeman. Love my friends so thankful for friends!!
I have for a few weeks now been posting on a regular basis a new column entitled, The Word of the Day!
I post it Monday through Sunday at www.fggam.org
Today's post is on the theme of when we speak the language of blessing, we communicate, affirm, and empower God-given intrinsic attributes that you see in another person. I call it speaking the life of Jesus into
each other! AMEN! Do you realize that your words bring forth life or death? Read more here:

Thought for the Day

"Bravely face whatever may come your way today. Know that God is always with
you,
lifting you and protecting you. Never lose hope that all will ultimately turn
out
okay."

July 8, 2013. I speak to you today of peace and calm. David was a man after God’s own heart. Yet God would not allow him to build His temple because David had fought too many battles, causing the shedding of too much blood. God gave him a son, Solomon, whose very name meant peace. Under his rule the temple would be built. He would rule God’s people in peace. I want you also, as a son of God, to be a peaceful leader, bringing forth peace and calm.
1 Chronicles 22:9 (MSG) “But you are going to have a son and he will be a quiet and peaceful man, and I will calm his enemies down on all sides. His very name will speak peace-that is, Solomon, which means Peace-and I’ll give peace and rest under his rule.”  Ras Robinson
July 8, 2013. Spending time with Me is the most important thing you can do. After all you are a child of the King.  Sometimes time spent with me appears to be unproductive, but quite the contrary. This attitude keeps you from knowing My ways, and one of the most important things you will ever know is how much I love you. You are a joint heir with My Son. The more you keep your mind and heart wrapped around that truth the more successful you will become in life. Experience that reality.
Romans 8:17 (MSG) “And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us-an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!”  Bev Robinson
Scroll down and see what is happening in ministry to the children.
July 8, 2013. My love is contagious. Let abounding love flow through you naturally and without inhibition, much like the spreadable laughter of a child. Children have no problem being themselves. They love to have fun, love to play and their imagination knows no end. Let the same be said of you. Live life to the fullest. Lay your fears aside and love like there’s no tomorrow. Speak words of love and acceptance. Wrap your arms around someone in a way you would hug yourself. Be infectious with and through Me.
1 John 4:7-8 (NLT) “Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”  Kevin Robinson
